Scattered here and there around the tunnels and caves of the Underdark near L'Obsul are a, perhaps, peculiar sight to the denizens of Below. What few that are found, are near intersections. An arrow, broken in half. There is a definitive, deliberate, placement of the arrow halves, and they do not appear to simply be the remnant of some skirmish in the dark. Although there are indications of that, as well. |

Away from the bustle of L’obsul, beyond the groaning machinery and chattering tools, where the traffic fades and the oppressive silence of rock reigns, the darkness stirs. Crunch! A sharp intake of breath, then a curse. Moryss reaches underfoot for whatever it was he trod on, bringing a broken arrow to bare under iridescent eyes. It takes him only a few moments to digest what it was he was seeing before he takes flight, mouthing 'vith!'. The drow careens down the tunnel towards L'obsul, bent double with hands protectively pressed against his scalp. |

Elsewhere the purposeful stride of one familiar with the tunnels, caverns and intersections comes upon the broken arrows. He pauses fading into the nearest crevice. He is not a master of the shadows by any means but experienced enough to be a smaller target while scanning the area. After several long moments of taking in the scene, placement of the arrow halves, location, where the arrow head pointed and other details he moves closer. He gathers up both halves of the arrow with a gloved hand, wraps them in blue silk and is gone. Giving the area back to whatever creatures were held at bay due to the presence of a more dangerous predator of the underdark. |

Once more, throughout tunnels and passes near L'Obsul, broken arrows are left behind. Whatever stalks in the dark beneath the surface, still draws breath. |
