A small note is posted on the Sorcere message board and the door to the Sorcere laboratory. Due to an unfortunate series of accidents and possibly mismanagement of several running experiments, the tower lab is off limits. Until the investigation is complete, all members should be especially vigilant in case this was an act of aggression on the part of someone antithetical to our great city. Early in the cycle a commotion stirs the Sorcere as books are pulled frantically from the shelves. "Do be careful and make note of which tomes have suffered damage. Make sure the Librarian has the proper titles so they may be cataloged correctly this time..." In an exasperated tone he continues, "Would one of dos be so kind as to find the leak? The books are difficult to read when wet, nau?" With the help of a mummy and the jaluke named Gullyn'diirn, the Ul'faeruk moves several of the crates off site. "These are the more irreplaceable of the lot, they will be stored and protected away from the ministrations of our watery enemy." Turning to the Librarian, "make sure these are noted properly, usstan does naut wish them forgotten or misplaced." |

Irae arrives to help, dressed in breeches and a loose tunic that can be disposed of when the work is done. She seems distressed by the damage, acting quickly though her strength is no better than average. She summons her skelton and her pet, a Corrupter of Fate, and dispatches them to aid the Ul'faeruk and his associates. |

As the Ul'faeruk spy's the arrival of Irae'arra, there is a slit second of panic upon his face, taking in the working attire as he bows politely. "That will naut do," Quickly swiping a parchment from the librarian. "Dos will be better suited to this..." Handing her the parchment and a quill, "Dos intellect and experience are more valuable than impersonating a common laborer. If dos fine hand might make sure thine own favorite tomes are accounted for and secured in this crate," A small crate on the floor is indicated. "It would be most helpful." A breath and a slow run of fingers through his long hair removes some of the harried expression he wears. "Gullyn'diirn is overseeing the transport of crates to the secure location, usstan will return shortly." Waving his own corrusptor of fate along with another crate, he departs the Sorcere. |

Zran'ea arrives at the Sorcere with her pet Yuogoloth and spider companion, looking around, perhaps even offering assistance? |

Skirting round the large outsider, the Ul'faeruk renders a curt bow to Zran'ea. "Bweal, though we are nearly done here, the library is still yet vulnerable. If dos could have the large companion stand guard and dos question anyone naut recognized, it would be immensely helpful. We don't wish any of these valuable tomes to be stolen or wander off, xas?" He nods, and with a Corrupter of fate carrying another crate, departs the Sorcere. |

Irae sets about placing what she can of the conjuration and necromantic studies' books in the crate. Her own favourites, obviously, number among them. Packing carefully, she orders the poor Corrupter to carry the crate off wherever Krrja might direct to get it to safety. The skeleton she leaves on guard. |

She would set her yuogoloth on guard duty while she would search for the tomes vital to her reasearch. Enchantment and abberant lifeform manuals, partcularly on the Flayers and Umberhulks. |

Following the destruction of the labs, what few students there had been, become disillusioned and slowly slip out from the City, never to be heard from again. |

Seeing the students vanish leaves Irae grim. She sends for Krrja, with a terse note. "We must talk..." |

With the changing of the guard, the new Ul'faeril sends out word to the guards and tries to rally a few volunteers to help her find the errant members of the school. //Asking for DM help, for clarification, to go find the NPCs that ran away. |
