Residents of Edonil,
This is to inform you that the Spider guard answers first to Lolth and then to the temple. Although the Matron Mothers insist they have the power to mandate who can hold rank within the academies. This does not apply to the temple. Any Jaluk with divine gifts bestowed by The Dread Valsharess or any of her subordanant powers are not only welcome to be tested and placed within the Spiderguard but required to present themself to the temple.

Ranking within the Spiderguard is based on duties provided as well as loyalty to Lolth and temple. This being said no member of a noble house will hold rank of Olath'draada or higher within the Spiderguard. This is to insure that the officers loyalty is to Lolth and Temple above all others.
