Those wandering the roads of Edonil may occasionally spot a scrawny short red-eyed kobold standing barely at 2"4, dressed in a flowing black tunic with white accents, a hood covering most of his facial features. The table near the merchant N'bril he is standing at is covered in scrolls and papers, several ink pots and quills strewn across the mess in addition to a small amount of bound books. His wrists and ankles are wrapped in blood-stained bandages, and he can be seen frantically working away with shaky but determined claws, scribing elaborate writings onto blank parchment at his chaotic workplace. The kobold bears no recognizable symbols of religion or allegiance on his body and regards passing Drow fearfully, even more so if they happen to stop and address him. It quickly becomes apparent that he speaks no trace of their native language, but seems to comprehend Undercommon rather decently even if his responses are haphazard at best. When asked of his purpose here, he insistently mentions serving some "Ssin-Nil" of "Khos-Chutsu", choosing his words with utmost care as if not to offend anyone. Aggressive intimidation causes him to shut down completely, rendering him cowering and begging for mercy. Further inquiring in a less hostile manner will reveal that he offers scribing services to those interested, though his abilities seem to be little beyond basic; judging from the writings on his table, he seems to do a decent enough job to perform recordings and inscriptions however. During slow hours he can be seen wandering the city with timid steps, careful to avoid certain buildings and the settlement gates entirely. Aside from the bandages on his limbs he still appears quite healthy, no scars or disfigurements readily visible. |

Those keeping track of his presence may soon notice that he is not spotted around Edonil anymore, his workplace now abandoned. |
