Do events on this server take place before or after the Time of Troubles? I ask because I was going to make our house from Ched Nasad, but if it was destroyed, that doesn't make much sense depending on how far past it we are.

Indeed we're currently at 1380DR but our acceptance of the Cannon Lore ends 1373DR (well after the Time of troubles in 1358DR and well before the Spellplague in 1385DR).

In drow terms Amia's use of the cannon lore basically falls after Lolth's silence is over but before the death of Vhaeraun.
