Ust’Ilharess Nizzre’tyne did not pay attention to the short, stocky duergar standing near her. She did not turn to glare at him for being too close or offer a harsh word of warning for his apparent rude behavior. Her attention was to the items upon the desk in front of her.

Nearby her Sirrush sat, his attention to those near his mistress. His eyes roamed the area alert for anything that might be a hazard. His ears listened for the slightest whisper that things might not be as they ought. His nose, his best sense, tasted the air. Nothing would disturb his mistress and live to tell the tale as far as he was concerned.

Nizzre’tynes scarlet gaze didn’t waver from her work. The gold was shaped into a ring. It was small and looked to be able to fit the fine finger of a Drow. Upon it using the tools made for her, she shaped something atop the ring. Eight tiny legs were fashioned and attached to the body of a spider. Then into the abdomen she inserted a gem. It was an agonizingly slow process. Yet finally she set down the tools and stepped back looking to the duergar.

He stepped up to inspect his students work. After several moments of inspection he only spoke one word. “Excellent.”
