I'd love to see some love similar to the divination and abjuration stuff get thrown in the direction of the transmutation school. Currently it's got few spells that require saves, all are lower level spells (flesh to stone and baleful polymorph being the more popular ones, Drown for druids), so the DC on them are never going to rival those of the Evocation, Illusion or Necromancy schools.
Some suggestions: Virtue - 1 HP per CL at normal focus Expoditeous Retreat - 2rounds/3rounds/4rounds /level at normal/greater/epic OR turn/level at epic focus Stoneskin - 1 extra damage absorbed per caster level at greater focus Greater Stoneskin - 2 extra damage absorbed per caster level at epic focus Timestop - 1 extra second per focus, making epic focus give it 2 round duration up from 1.5 rounds. Ability spells - Change the 1d4+1 to 1d3+2 at Epic focus (3-5 range up from 2-5 range. This would also boost the mass variant to +3 max, up from +2 max) Stone Bones - +1 AC for greater/+2 AC for epic(capping at +5 to undead at epic focus) Slow - Bypass freedom at epic focus (Would result in DC 13+6+INT/WIS/CHAmod slow. Assuming 15 INT/WIS/CHA that's DC34 will) Blackstaff - Hour/level at epic focus Nature's balance - 2HP Level/3HP level at greater and epic focuses Mordenkainen's sword - Change it to a summon similar to the shadow of the void in power level, but a golem variant WITHOUT true sight, changes to hours/level at epic focus Battletide - turn/level at epic focus Camo/Mass Camo - +1 Hide per focus
I've also got a few Conjuration suggestion: - Give all summons +1/+2/+3 buff to all ability scores with normal/greater/epic focus. - Monsterous Regeneration - round/level at epic focus - All cure spells get +1 HP per CL more at epic focus - Neutralize poison/disease gives 1 round/CL respective immunity at epic focus
I far from expect all to be considered, but adding a few would make the focus more appealing when compared to the shiny changes divination and abjuration got. I especially would love to see an Amian summon variant for the Mordenkainen's sword as the standard one is just insanely weak for the level slot it takes up, and while the true sight can be useful, even on a 100 hp summon.. there's other ways to get that already. (And sidenote, I'm completely biased because I'm currently playing a transmutation character, so inputs from people that aren't would be loved)

If this happens, forget not the druids. Shapechange and the druid shapes could use love for epic trans. Could also consider the other druid spells, but since they are mostly buffs I don't think there's good usage for it. barkskin, one with the land, greater magic dang, quillfire, spike growth, mass camo, awaken, inferno, owls insight, crumble, drown, greater stone, aura of vitality, natures balance, shapechange. Just saying

I gave some thought to them as I looked it over, but some of them can already do solid damage (Crumble, Drown and Spike Growth), while other ones have a decent duration. I did list Nature's balance and Mass Camo. I thought about giving some flavor to One with the Land, Barkskin or Aura of Vitality as well but couldn't really think of something that'd be a slight buff and still not be massively OP. Omitted Shapechange as well, though maybe.. +1/+1.5/+2 Temp HP per CL could be useful and not be overly OP.

I had a list of Trans mods that i thought could be cool, but never bothered to post them because we dont got the peeps to make it happen.
My idea for Ability spells was 1d3+2, 1d2+3, +5 for each focus. Given Epic Trans effects so.. so very little, i dont think a free maxed ability spell is to crazy. The AoE one from the book would still only give the +2.
Slow is an awesome spell in PvE, and unless we change our stand on Freedom, im afraid for PvP its just another one of the spells that is useless vs players.
Stoneskin/Gss and Barkskin ive always felt should have a built in bonus to Hide when used in Outdoors/underground settings. Though id not tie that to Trans focus. Stoneskin itself is Abju anyway, but GSS getting a few extra points of shield could be worth while.
Expeditious retreat being changed to match Resistance's duration would be nice. That being 2 rounds, 4 rounds, 1 turn. Odds are it would still not be used all that much, really, but it would be nice for getting around!
A bit more complex, but i thought the idea of Haste having a bounce effect. In effect it would work like Protection from Spells, but only affect say 1 extra person at epic trans. Mass Haste will still be needed for big things, but for small groups it could be useful. This could work for Keen and GMW as well.
A bit above and beyond here, but mass haste auto extending (And not being affected by extended further, so no double ups) could be good to, at Epic Trans.
Id like to see Stone Bones give %DR vs Blug or something, really. Not just for undead, but everyone. Just to make it useful outside of that tiny little nitch.

I'd love to see transmutation get some love, I only picked it because Gerald wanted to be like someone else.
