A talking point I want to discuss with y'all is the idea of expanding unlocked doors. Not in the system value that grants XP, but just for the overall accessibility of otherwise exclusive target areas. It seems that the majority of doors in the server require a key to deal with. Unless magically warded, this kind of underminds the ability for rogues to gather information, and creates a sort of 'safe' zone for people to mingle. Even if the locks were set with higher DCs than normal, they should still be able to be plucked. But also, I don't believe that any area should be exclusive in the server to a faction, a player, or otherwise, this would include currently occupied Housing System areas. Even for non-important or currently existent locations, maybe these buildings not being used (such as Central Cordor doors) should have minor desolate but accessible interiors to expand the flesh of cities like Shadowscape Cordor and Kohlingen. What do you think about expanding Open Lock Success server wide with more internal holes in the wall and available access to faction areas?

Yes. This has long been a thorn in my beef.

Asterisk: the only "special key only" doors should be "weird protective measures that would need a DM to oversee" or "going beyond this door needs a DM to tell you wants going on behind it". This does include Faction areas, because WYSIWYG is not really applicable there, and there are usually NPCs. So those would need to stay as they are or things would get really confusing, incongruent, and frustrating really quick. There are other doors that don't really warrant the need for a "no lock-pick, need special key only" though and those and everything else should be able to be criminalized - aside of the permalocked doors which lead nowhere, of course, but are used for the various Job System interactions that require a permalocked door.

Typically all doors that 'require a specific key' are doors that would need to have DM over sight when picking the locks.

I am not against looking at individual cases though.
