The Wave & Serpent Adventuring Guild presents a tournament for heroes!
The tournament will take place on 26 Mirtul, 1387 DR. It will be composed of four different events. Each event will earn a single winner, whom will receive one point for the victory. The victor with the most points from the four events will be named Serpent Champion. In the event of a points tie, a sixth event will determine the Champion, as described below.
Event I Brawl A bracketed tourney, two fighters at a time. No weapons or magic (spells, items, or inherent abilities) will be allowed, except for those given by our Brawl Supervisor. Our Brawl Supervisor will also make sure there is no cheating.
Event II Archery Competition Semi-Bracketed tourney with five shots per round, until there is one winner. Bows and arrows will be provided, and the Archery Supervisor shall tally the points. No magic items, spells, or inherent abilities will be allowed.
Event III Construct Deconstruction A one-on-one battle against our construct specially created for the tournament. Use any means necessary to win: magic, items, etc. Our Construct Supervisor will time each battle. Whoever is quickest to defeat the construct will win. (No outside aid from bystanders/opponents.)
Event IV Mind Quest Five Questions in the first round. Correct answers move to the next round until a winner is declared. Quickest answers will be victorious. Our Lore Supervisor will oversee the event.
Event V Joust Two horses, two riders. The Joust Supervisor will draw up the Bracket for those who participate. Bracketed matches will take place until a single winner remains. Specific rules will be explained on site. ((Further rules explained below to help.))
Event VI: Tie-Breaker Fox Hunt Our Fox Hunt Supervisor shall shift into a fox for our victors to hunt. The winner shall be the participant who is able to knock him out. No Death Magic allowed, but other non-lethal means may be used.
The Serpent Champion will win a special prize! Remaining event winner(s) will receive a reward of 100,000 gold coins. (Note: You cannot win Serpent Champion unless you compete in all five main events.)

Excitement is starting to grow and build in and aroudn Cordor as the time of the event is coming closer. It appears not a single sad soul is among the citizens this day. The event promises fun, entertainment and coin. Especially the children are seen running about in anticipation for the activities to begin.

-Participants will each be given a horse via phenotype/tail change. (Temporarily!) -When you are told to "Go" you will roll DEX to stay on the horse: DC 10. Failing this roll will eliminate you. -Both horses ride to meet in the middle. Opponents roll STR/DEX (whichever you prefer) to hit each other. The highest roller is the one who makes the hit. -Both riders roll STR/DEX (whichever you prefer) again. If the one who was struck fails the opposed roll, he or she falls off the horse and they are eliminated. Otherwise, the striker only gets one point and they must line up for another round. -If no one is knocked off the horse, the first jouster to 3 points wins and the opponent is eliminated.
