News spreads of an attack against the village of Uhm. A warship, bearing blood red banners, launched a vicious raid against the fortified settlement. A call for aid issued at the last minute by militia was answered by adventurers, who with the militia of Uhm, pushed back the blood-thirsty attackers.
The warship was last spotted sailing southward, along the coast, before being lost in the haze of a storm.
In response, Wharftown has increased active militia patrols. Her ballista are manned, and pointed seaward. There is a hushed calm, as people make preparations.
Just in case.

An enigmatic - albeit cordial and approachable - robed scholar remained afterward for some time, watching the coastline of Uhm and Wharftown from beneath a rain-drenched hood.

Soon after the attack, a man followed by a large hound and a wolf was seen unloading a large amount of meat, eggs and fruit outside the mayor's house, before he moved on, tending to the wounded and raising from the dead those who would accept the second chance.

During his regular visit to Wharftown, elf in red and gold armor notices increased security and decides to check either with guards or Mayor Garth what's going on... If explained, he quickly departs and returns later that day, and rents a house that overlooks the harbor, obviously intent to stay for a while...

The robed scholar would not spot the blood-banner bearing warship on the storm-wrought horizon that night. As swiftly as the ship arrived, it departed. ~~~ The villagers of Uhm are grateful enough for the assistance given by the man with his hounds. Though they seem wary of the large animals, and give them a wide berth. ~~~ A reply to the Triadic Knights from the village of Uhm does not seem immediately forthcoming. ~~~ "We were told by some adventurers that Uhm had been attacked by what can only be Gargarosian raiders." Garth would explain to the well-known warlord. "Needless ta say, we're keeping an eye open."

Hand of Ieyrn Saylgarix spends much of his night patrols watching the water-side of Wharftown now, he even seems to spend more waking hours on his shifts. Being a kobold, he has very good night vision. Keeping a bow and poisoned arrows ready, he and his badger companion keep alert for any trouble from the sea...

Even Gorthod emerges from the depths of the Slanty Shanty, whilst drunk, he does do his best to stumble around the docks in what might be described as a patrol. The more likely scenario is that he's so drunk he's forgotten where he lives.

A new banner is seen flying over the gates of Wiltun after a commotion in the courtyard and reports of fighting on Caraigh. Clearly too small to be from a large warship, it nonetheless stands out because it is blood red in color and marked with the symbol of the Reaver.
Shortly after its hung, the Squire of Wiltun's First Knight can be seen conversing with several ship Captains in an animated fashion concerning Orders from His Grace....

"All right then, I'll get some of my comrades to keep an eye here." Malatril would reply to Garth "I'll go and meet with guard captain and see if he needs any assistance. We ain't letting these bastards have their way here." he'd mutter a curse under his breath, as he'd down his drink and get out of the inn to find guard captain.

Meanwhile in Wharftown, workers began construction of make-shift fortifications. Lumber is taken from Warknight stockpiles, diverted from construction of their second vessel. Many militia members work double-shifts, and more eyes are watching the sea.

What once was an unwelcome sight in Uhm, a Knight adorning the uniform of the Triadic Knights is seen entering the town from the north. She quietly looks at what damage is done, if any, and quietly resumes her patrols southwards. Later on in the day coming back from the south and leaving from the north. This procedure happens over several days before the patrol is lessened to every third or fourth day.

After talk with Captain and Mayor, and later with man in Wiltun colors and couple of War Knights, Warlord leaves the town via portal only to return one hour later, carrying couple of large bags. He surveys the town area and moves behind the Zeke's forge, adjusting some crates around as he slowly sets up ballista piece by piece, positioning it so it can cover both port area and north entrance to the town, if need be, using crates as partial cover for the crew. Messages are left for shipwrights and all hired workers are offered double pay to assist with the setting up barricades.

On occassion a young red-haired wood elf can be seen going back and forth the docks and township of Wharftown, sometimes on her own or with her father Malatril. She'd assist with any make-shift fortifications she could afford time for and keep a watchful eye over the sea.

*a large earth genasi with a tiny armored rabbit perched on his shoulder arrives in wharftown. Upon arival he begins surveying the area and conducting patrols in all cardinal directions where there is land. The red and gold armored figured would only respond "i was ordered to safe guard this settlement" when asked what he was doing. The local bandit population has dipped slightly from his extensive patrols as he seeks the reavers wherever they may be.*

The Shipwright, Aiden, having received word from the Warlord leaves off all work in regards to ship construction and aids in building any fortification that the folk of Wharftown might need. Having already days before set up his tent along the coast, he is near by should there be need to speak with him or have his council on carpentry questions.

After assisting other adventurers and his fellow knights in successfully repelling garagosian attack, Warlord can be seen forming small group of half-dozen people who head south to reavers' landing site. Soon afterwards, 3 rowboats arrive at Wharftown docks with same people onboard. Ships are relinquished to the guards, as Warlord thanks all who assisted in defense, and goes to see guard Captain and Mayor.
"This was just scouting. They are just testing us, our defenses, reaction times, and resolve. They'll be back."

During the last sighting of the Vessel around Wharftown, Keliana prepared the town by setting up Palisades around the little port village, down the roads leading in, in case of an attack from the land, as the vessel sailed off to the south, chasing a smaller one.
Keliana is currently residing in Wharftown due to the Ship Building contract she is... contracted on.
// Thats about it, DustSpray helped with it as he was running ze boat. (Though the palisades didn't get setup at the time because I had to leave for dinner, he agreed that they did)

While Saylgarix seems more relaxed after the first attack was repelled, the kobold remains vigilant, and continues to watch for any more signs of trouble. He's usually about during night shifts, where he can compliment the rest of the guard with his koboldly night vision. Sometimes he'll have his highly aggressive badger with him.
After a conversation with the Warlord, he heads inside to get out of uniform and into his regular outfit. When day comes, he departs the town...
He spends some time checking Underport, trying to be as discrete as possible, he checks to see if any of the reavers are supplying themselves there.

Meanwhile, Warlord inquires with mercenary captains and other mercenary go-betweens in Quagmire camp and Wiltun port about anyone who asked for large number of "fresh blood" to replenish lost numbers, or any garagosian mercenaries looking for recruits in general.

There would be no obvious sign of Reavers, either in Underport or the Quagmire camp. The only sign of Reavers in Wiltun would be a tattered and defaced banner hung from the gates of the fortress: an obvious trophy claimed from one of the Reaver's landing craft.
In fact, it has been rather quiet of late, as far as raiders and reavers are concerned. As hurried fortifications are finished in Wharftown, there are hopeful whispers that perhaps there will be no attack after-all.

A lone platinum-haired Knight, the colors of his surcoat and tabard proclaiming him a newly minted soldier of the Northwind Regiment, lay down a few coins and rented a room at the Shanty. His arrival was unheralded and odd, given the well known fact that the rest of the regiment was committed to the war in Brogendenstein. Often he seems gone for long periods of time, returning, the look of hard living about his person and with a grim mask of determination upon his features. Strangely enough whenever he does leave the township it is to head further inland. Whether he is in the town due to the activities of the Reavers is not clear, though to any who may ask him he merely states mystically "You can build a wall, when fixing the wheel barrow"

News would spread of an attack on the Lowlands Delta. It is said that damage was fairly extensive, with no small loss of life. Yet the raiders were repelled by what one survivor commented as "a mass of adventurers who came from everywhere, with big swords and lots of magic" who "kicked those Raiders right in the arse." Some survivors are said to have been escorted by request to the northern city of Kohlingen.
Related to this attack is news of the loss of a Cordorian frigate - The Hector Carton - confirmed sunk in the waters off the western coast of Amia, in an attempt to fend off the raiders. All hands are presumed lost. Speaker Maximillian himself issued a statement in the early morning hours, from the steps of the Commonwealth center, commending "the selfless bravery of our sailors" who are "willing to risk all for the safety of not only the good Commonwealth, but the greater isle of Amia." He added, "It is the place of the Commonwealth to lead the way. It has always been our charge to defend the waters of Amia, and it is a responsibility we will continue to uphold."
Additionally, rumor spreads that one of the raiding ships was destroyed off the coast by a dragon following the attack on the Delta.
But by all counts, at least one raiding ship still remains. Coupled with the vicious storms that have ravaged the coast, fears run high. Patrol ships bearing the banners of the Commonwealth in the southern waters, and the Silver Dragon of Kohlingen in more northern waters become a more common sight as both city-states step up their patrols.
Militias in Uhm and Wharftown remain vigilant.
Tensions remain high.

Elf in red and gold uniform returns next day to the scene of carnage. He surveys the battlefield, and then starts hauling whatever bodies remained after all destructive magic that was unleashed there. Any scavengers are scared off or simply slain by his powerful blade if they decided to fight for their "food", and bodies are slowly but steadily piled up, with some wooden logs and planks used to create makeshift funeral pyre. After hard work is done, elf takes time to wash himself in the nearby waters, and then with help of some alchemist fire, pyre is set aflame. Elf spends some time watching flames consume the fallen, offering prayer to all innocents who were brutally slaughtered, leaving only after most of pyre burns down. For the attackers though, not a word is said.

Cory Shadowflame hears of the last attack and makes sure the Mill is ready should they need to defend themself.
In turth Cory does not think they will attack again given the number of advantages in their favor, Wiltuns Navy,Caraighs rocky shores that have been known to sink ships in the past, highground with the cliffs forcing them to climb up with ropes slowing thier advance and the Mills number of ballista facing out to sea ready open fire.

The "dragon" assists where possible at the Mill in ensuring the forces there are ready for an attack, offering what knowledge he has of the strengths and weaknesses of the ships and the men who crew them. He performs similar duties in Wiltun itself, being willing to put nothing past the Garagosian Reavers.

Next few days, Warlord can be seen patrolling Wharftown and Endir's point, keeping his eyes peeled on the open sea, checking with fishermen who returned from their rounds at the sea if they noticed anything suspicious. He informes Elder Teron of Endir's Point of the situation, and urges him to get the guards at high alert. He also makes a quick trip to ruins of Lowlands delta, checking if there has been any large troop movements in the area.

Having been dealing with certain 'things' within Cordor recently. A woman garbed in Fine White and Rose Robes walks into the Lowland Delta's little village.. or at least what remained of it and her face crinkled with a frown. Looking around at the destruction her frown deepened and she cursed herself under her breath for not being here when it happened, as she tends to be a frequent visitor if not a resident of the tiny town. She wanders around and surveys the damage critically, then lets out a quiet sigh. Before wandering off to find someone to talk to about it.

A handful of survivors have begun to pick up the pieces. A few refugees return.
Notably, in response to the raid, Cordorian scouts have been deployed to the Lowland Delta. The handful of survivors are in no shape to resist, and welcome the show of stable support from the city to the south. Flags are set up, banners unfurled, set upon the northern bridge defiantly.
"You are now entering Cordorian jurisdiction."
Those looking to offer aid are directed to speak the leader of the scout division now deployed.

After a bloody battle on the grounds of the Salandran temple, the days following the chaos brought forth the aid of Kohlingen. A boat arrives from the Holy City carrying building supplies, tools and of course, a team of labourers all under the supervision of a single knight adorning the blue livery of the Silver Dragon defenders of Kohlingen.
She shows the group around the grounds, and the buildings that were damaged in the attack, and lets their labour-masters figure out the best way to go about the rebuilding.
After she has helped set them all up, she makes her way to see Temple Mother Victoria with some rather important information.

Aly returns daily to see to the wounded and deliver supplies. Mostly food, she also sees to it that healing poultices and potions are brought, so that the staff need not totally rely on frontier medicine.
