Word spreads rapidly through Cordor of a pair of firebombings that occured just beyond the city limits. The first was a small explosion set off next to the stone wall encircling Cordor's northern outskirts. While damage was minimal, an ugly scorched section of wall is visible from the outside. Luckily for those concerned with city beautification, it's not visible from the inside, or from the northern road.

It's quite a different story at the western gate leading towards Cape Slakh. The wood and stone palisade gate there is heavily blackened and burned, and those passing through the area would note the distinctive tang of chemical explosives present, amongst the scents of ash and burned plants.

Shortly after the fires were put out, guard mages could be seen gathering samples from both locations for analysis, and speculation is running rampant through the city as to the cause and reason for the attack upon the Commonwealth. Some claim it's the work of the Nobles' Army; others put their money on a Kossuthan firebug. Yet others point fingers at the as-yet uncaptured terrorist Yurioji, and numerous other theories abound. While the guard continues to investigate, one thing is certain: whoever performed the twin bombings, the damage was almost un-noticeable compared to other such explosions, such as that which destroyed Arwen's Clothing Store, and the one which damaged the Cordor Jail.

*Hashal can be seen watching the far off flashes of light with interest from the Skullcrags...before going back inside to drink a nice cold glass of tea and to say ''Why didn't I think of that!?'' to all in the immediate area of the gate into Armageddon Hall.*

*as Amontep looks at the gate, he smiles sadistically under his helm and thinks: I might need something with more power...*

Lieutenant Nevaeh Tarvencia may be seen spending a rather good deal of time at the sites of the explosions throughout the day: She's taking notes, recording thoughts and writing who-knows-what-else in her journal. Though, she does look a bit confident while doing it.

A stunning blonde half-elf carefully examines the sites and makes careful notations before scampering off toward the Bloodmoon fort.

Somewhere deep in the depths of a Cordor dungeon, a man with an eye-patch and two good eyes chuckles and doesn't know why.

*an ingeniously disguised Quin K. Goodman looks at the minor damage and scoffs*
Amateurs, don't make me laugh.
