Locals are busy at work repairing the damage done both inside and out the Lathanderite Temple in Nes'ek. The roof looks to have been hit by a large blast, while the interior seems to be scored by numerous lightning strikes. Several Nes'ek Defenders stay stationed inside the temple, not only to guard it but to heal their own wounds. Even Lady Si'neela did not come unscathed. Word around Nes'ek places this as the work of a group of Velsharoon faithful, assisted by a small squad of undead plundered from the nearby crypts.

As Ar'usk arrives back on his homeland Ne'Sek, the news about the velsharites attack to the temple quickly reaches his ears. After a short conversation with Lady Sharina Fryar, he goes home to meet his parents and take an extended rest due to the long travel. The next morning he offer his prayers to Kelemvor, as usual, and promptly puts his sword and shield vigilant guarding the city, as ordered to him. He also offers his aid on repairing the damages on the temple.
"Damn cursed souls. You will pay for that, the Lord's justice will fall upon your heads!"

Unable to survive the darkness of the cells of the triadic knights, Renais Whiteheart had been transferred in her incarceration to the shrine to lathander not a day before the attack.
Shattered manacles in the corner of the temple are the only testament she was ever there, as she was taken (alive or dead) with the necromancers as they dissapeared into the shadows.

It may be possible to learn that the velashrites were accompanied by a knight in red armour, famously a sacreligious colour to their faith

He appears through a portal, his hood covering his face, he walks around asking locals questions, but avoiding the eye of officials and those of the Eternal Order and the Triadic Knights. After gathering enough information the Black Magician sets off to hunt those responsible down*
