Today the Mystran Golems were sabotaged by forces as yet unknown.

An anonymous tiefling of apparently few moral qualms planted a device in Cordor's Mythal Centre, which enabled a person or persons to drive one of the guardian golems berserk. Many lives would have been lost, had they not been saved in time by the healing touch of Andric Fenton, a cleric of Lathander.

The device itself was transported at great peril to the Mystran Grove, by a group of selfless heroes who now have the favour of the Tower.

Thoramind of the Tower is now analysing the device in the hope of discovering its origins, and has also ordered that the wards covering the Mythal Centres be improved so that a similar attack is impossible in the future.

*Mynna hears about this and decides to stay the hell away from that device*

Tamine heard about the odd events later that day, while shopping in Cordor. The meat vendor came running through the square screaming about golems attacking and telling everyone to flee. As usual, the majority of the citizens seemed totally unconcerned at the news and continued milling around in the square. A few curious onlookers, Tamine included, decided to go have a look.

Knowing the vendor's usual stall was in South Cordor, they made their way to the market square. Arriving in the square, they found nothing unusual. The clerics at the mythal crafting center assured everyone that the problem was solved, the golems had been warded and were no longer susceptible to sabotage.

Tamine expressed some doubts about the safety of the forge itself, but one cleric vehemently denied any possibility of sabotage. At some point during these discussions, the meat vendor returned to his stall to tend to his cow, having apparently decided that the danger wasn't as great as he originally thought. The talk then moved on to other matters. After a bit more talking, everyone was satisfied as to the safety of the area and they began to disperse. Tamine, however, still remained suspicious of the mythal forge at this center, and quietly resolved to do any mythal crafting in Brogendenstein in the future. She muttered softly "So long as that helmed horror doesn't start dancing around oddly like these golems, it should be safe to use that forge."

Hearing the commotion and being the only guard around, Jack walked slowly to the noise. As he neared the Mythal Forge, the massive golem appeared out of nowhere and swung at him with it's large mithril fists. It hit him squarely in the chest, knocking the wind out of him and the force threw him back several metres back

Feth you! I just got this armour fixed!

He drew his morningstar and with a few of the people at the scene, managed to bring down the massive golem. After helping several of the Mystrans get back to their feet, he got the description of the accused "sabotager."

Right then, I've got a job to do...

With a click of his fingers, he was gone. Deciding that the description wasn't worth his effort searching for, he chased the small party that was transporting the device and caught them in the Forest. Hearing the dragon's death roar made him felt glad but after hearing that the device didn't do anything, (or didn't understand what it did) he left without a trace and returned to Cordor to do his job.
