To Amians and citizens of the lands, please read carefully as Cordoria Militia has instated that you should be informed on the latest happenings of the Great War, and its effects on our beloved lands.
General Kortrov of the Peoples Army has instated that this information should be spread out to all eyes to let them realize what is truely happening beyond the walls of the cities - what is going on with the Great War and how dire the situation has been.
Its been dated now, that the Great War has now been raging on for 22 years and 3 months. The war has been going on for so long that the veterns have become elders and the youth have become men and joined into the peoples army. The War has been raging so long you cannot even imagine the reprecussions that it has done to the land and the enviroment.
Cordoria Militia when first forming to defeat the Horde Invasion started at a proud 5200 soldiers , to this date we are now down to 2400 soldiers.
The Horde's Armies at the beggining of the Great war was approximetly 20,000 Hobgoblins Orcs and Ogres. To this day the count of the Horde's Military Numbers have increased to over 3,000,000 underwavering soldiers all ready to follow any command and order given by thier King and Generals.
The Odds have completely been dropping over the years, while the Allied Powers have continued to suffer losses, the Horde continues to gather and grow in support - instead of losses they are gaining more soldiers than the Military and yourselves can kill. The main reason why the races so boldly wish to join the Horde? Adveterurs, Hunting parties, Raiders, "Hero's" of amia.
When the war begun, the King of the Horde knew that he needed to gain support from the 'other' races , he knew that in order to control amia, he needed support of its inhabitants - those inhabitants being the creatures that adveterurs have hunted for hundreds of years. He used a simple but very effective slogan to these races - " Are you tired of seeing your brothers, sisters, children and loved ones fall to the blades of HUmanoids just for thier game of sport? Just for thier lust of blood? For thier greed of gold? Are you tired of hiding in your battered caves and forts? Are you tired of loosing more and more of the land that originally belongs to your people? Then stop hiding. Join into the greatest force that has ever stepped apon this very land of ours and let us take back what is rightfully ours. Let us fight back against these blood thirsty barbarians and apes and show them what its like to be the hunted. Let us show them what it is like for loved ones and families to be slaughtered. "
With that, the King of the Horde has rallied nearly all of the races under the banner of the Horde - they are tired of hiding - so they are coming.
To this date, there are only four nations that rallied together under a banner to fight against the Extermination of Humanity. Those four joined together in the beggining of the great war, it was deemed the Alliance - no other Civilization has joined with the alliance to stop the Horde invasion. If you are unsure or are new to the lands, the Alliance is
* Cordoria Militia (( The Peoples army, not under the authority of Cordor's Government or the Duke , but under the command of General Kortrov )). We stand at 2400 soldiers.
* Brogendenstein - The Dwarves of the mountains in charge of keeping the Horde forces at bay at the mountain lands and greatly aid the Peoples army by sending Dwarven Platoons. The Dwarven armies in the Great War are numbered to be 2000 strong dwarven arms.
* Neverwinter - From far across the seas the King of Neverwinter joined with Cordoria Militia's goal to defeat this threat , as he saw they needed help in thier greatest times of need. The Neverwinter Armies that have been sent are to be around a strong 3000 soldiers.
* The Republic Of Axis - Coming from thier tropical Continent the Senate and Emperor have seen the chaos that wreaks its Neighbor continent, and have had its Legions fighting the Horde Invasion all throughout the regions of Amia. The Legions of Axis stand of a strong 500,000 soldiers.
Why hasent the Horde managed to been found? Because the Horde is Amia. They know amia better then we - they are all across the regions and stay spread apart until orders are given - they form when given the command. And like a giant swarm of a tidal wave of death they form and obliterate everything in thier wake - they go by Thornius's teachings - Burn everything behind you - so that the land is utterly useless even if the Alliance manages to take the land back.
Over the years of studying the immense horde Empire, we have managed to gather information on how it is run and its major leaders , though you may be thinking " I'll just go out and kill them " is that easy? The War has lasted for 22 years remember - the Alliance has tried many times with and sometimes without adveterurs to defeat these powerfull foes.
King Akadormi - The Hier to the Throne of the Horde Empire, deemed the Hier by Thornius when he was saposidly destroyed - Akadormi took the throne and turned the Horde into what it is today - the King is a Fire Giant, no ordinary one. Very Intellegent, and powerful the King has managed to rally all of the races together to fight against Humanoids. Nobody has seen the King and managed to live and tell about it. The King also bears the Hellflame Sword of Thornius - Deadly and highly corruptive, it has changed and made the King of the Horde into a powerful and corrupted being. The King is rumored to be larger than a fully grown adult Dragon - A large King for a Large Empire.
General Guthma - A ancient Umberhulk that has led Horde Military forces against the Republic and Miltia in the regions near the Amian Forest - Guthma's main task is to exterminate the Druid Groups in the forests and control the forests. At this point most of Guthma's forests have been using the forests as a safe haven against the Republic's Legions - As the Senate deemed the Republic was not to enter the Forest due to the Druid's hatred - Guthma has used that situation as a perfect situation to house most of his armies in the forests to 'hit and run' tactics. The Beast is rumored to be invincible - a umberhulk that had his shells removed and replaced with Steel PLating - he is literally a moving fortress of death.
General Flarion - A ancient and powerful fire Elemental, and a creation of Thornius himself. Flarion has taken on many properties of his creator, and taken on many of his creators teachings. Flarion has the ability to use fire as a gateway to walk in and out of - making him immensely illusive and deadly. Commanding infinite amounts of Fire Elementals, Flarion has posed a major threat against the Alliance and leads a large portion of the Horde's Military.
High Priest Sslo'oth - Perhaps the most unknown and the most deadly of any of the leaders within the Horde besides the King , Sslo'oth is in charge of the Religion in the Horde - the teachings of Thornius. Being a full blooded Yuan Ti, the High Priest has great intellegence, and no guilt what so ever. Being in charge of many plots and missions, the High Priest no doubt has brought the Horde to many many victories. As religion plays a important role in the Horde, Sslo'oth has major word on what goes on with Horde affairs and movements.
Be wary on what is going on, be vigilant. Do not assault the Horde freely, this is a war - not a " I want to be a hero ". This isnt a scrabbled force of a few beasts and creatures, this is the extermination of Humanity. If you see Horde Soldiers within the land - being no surprise - you shouldent attack them directly. Get to the nearest Alliance patrol and let them know of the situation.
Stand strong, be brave and never surrender hope to this dawning Empire that is before us. Further reports and information will be posted over time.
