Sylae (Gwelaine) weakened the interior of the building by using acid fog to damage the support beams then most of the defenders left the building while Joss unleashed a few earthquake spells and quickly ran out in hopes the building would crumble.

A red garbed man laughs out loud when hearing about this. He wonders why they didn't just change the locks!

Meanwhile Aigheshed appears to be strangely quiet. The figures made from wicker adorn each entryway to the abandoned town, dangerously pearing to all travellors that dare to cross the borders.

James had been talking to Kel'riia and Sabrar in the forest near the Shrine, when what James had been expecting suddenly happened.

The cultists appeared as if from nowhere, demanding that he lie down on the ground. James had refused and ran, but he couldn't outrun the flurry of spells that tore into his body.

When he woke, it was in the darkness of the crypts in Aigheshed, and an albino tiefling woman stood over him.

"The Necromaster wants to speak to you..."

Then began the long, long wait, for the torture he knew must come.

It did come. James screamed in pain as he experienced forces crushing his body, splitting his skin open, spilling his guts onto the floor. Sometime during this period of agony, someone had carved a T into his forehead.

"Let them see what happens to traitorous filth..."

James then passed out of consciousness and didn't know that, as he did, his portal wand had been activated, and, moments later, his unconscious and dying body had materialized in The Mill.

James was healed and revived by a woman that cared for him. A drow woman. Kalimor.

She, alone, had believed in him.

While the rotten corpses and demons still range through the woods of Caraigh,
the number of Bandits, Harpies, Crow and other vermin appears to get regularly diminished,
yet the bodies of the slain humans and creatures are missing. Only small leftovers like
feathers or broken weapons remain on the ground, leaving distinct evidence of combat.

Sometimes a wanderer with a keen eye may notice the trails of wheels,
perhaps those of a small cart, which draw two parallel lines across the grass and earth,
while footprints of different shape and size accompany the lines across the ground.

"I am suprised you have not taken flight yet." Cecilia calmly looked at him as he flexed his fingers around the hilt of his blade. Both had just fought their way through the spires and their enchantments were wavering, in addition there was not much she still had to cast against him.

Sir Robert moved first. Suddenly the cultist sent three spells at him at once, having used timestop to strip him of his enchantments and then send a storm of crackling magical energy that impacted rapidly against his chest, halting the charge as he was thrown back by the sheer force of the arcane power. The smell of burned flesh and blood filled his nostrils. Before he could properly recover, she once more used the technique, this time most of the magical missiles evaporated around the greater spell mantle sheathing him.

Then it was over. He had reached her and ripped his glowing blade up in a single motion across her chest. Staggering, fatally wounded and dazed she took a few steps back before she dropped upon the ground. Standing over her he placed his blade upon her throat. "Take your leave to your fellow cultists and remember that you owe me your life."

With that the tip of the blade moved and settled upon the burning hot stone of the throne room of the spires. The gravely wounded cultist rolled over and slowly got up to her feet, taking out her teleportation wand. "I will be seeing you sweetheart."

Meanwhile bonfires were built on Caraigh, some brave adventureres, who dared to travel to the small island may
have spotted the coal and ashes left on the ground, perhaps the one or the other bug-like leg. However, especially
among Cloudfen, where the giant termites attack everything that moves, the most fires were lit.

Image

Image

Aswell within the Cloudfen Grove the sweet scent of burned flesh and wood roams through the bushes and trees
and fill the air with the stench of fire already from far away.

Someone must have had a reason to do this, or simply... just felt like it! - As the weather is indeed always harsh
and just too cold for certain individuals, yes, it is an imposition!

Sir Justin Fairfax had pondered well the needs of the 600 people sheltering under the protection of the Shadowflames on Caraigh. 1,800 meals a day plus water was needed to care for such.

While others sought to find a more permanent solution to the Caraigh dilemma Justin felt moved by the Triad to take the simple and direct action of raising funds, buying food and carrying it to the Shadowflames.

He was joined in this cause by squire Serina, Kharn Darkbane, Zammikyria, Tuomas, squire Saethe, squire Jaric, and others who donated gold or sweat or prayers.

The first successful run was made with the aid of Tuomas' magic and Zammikryia as escort as the three of them delivered 1,875 meals plus water. It was enough for 1 day if everyone ate three meals or longer if rationed tightly.

http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff4 ... ikryia.png

It was well received though the gathering when the three arrived was focused on building a more permanent solution. Still what good would a solution tomorrow be if the people starved today.

His first delivery done Justin left to prepare the next. He hoped that Claire would not be too worried...

//I am assuming that general actions such Justin's repeated supply runs would still be posted here.

Sir Justin Fairfax gives thanks at after their second successful run to Shadowflame Tower with supplies. Senior Squire Serina Fynolds had performed well in purcahsing the needed supplies including the water from the Nomad.

http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff4 ... araigh.jpg

99 boxes of standard rations plus water were successfully delivered by Serina, War knight Malatril and Justin to Lord Cory at Shadowflame Tower. A total of just over 6,000 meals plus water had been delivered by their efforts the last two days enough to feed everyone two meals for five days or longer if they needed to ration it more tightly.

http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff4 ... dwater.png

It was not as much as was planned as Squire Jaric had gotten lost on the run though word of his safe return to Kohlingen reached Justin. The knight could not at this time confirm the delivery of the supplies entrusted to the squire.

Sir Justin had made it clear that it was paramount to get the food through and not to stop for anything once they were making the run. Though he anguished when he realized the squire was missing though he knew Jaric had reached the relative safety of the Asylum.

He asked Lord Cory to watch for the young squire. As they conferred about the needs of those sheltering under the Shadowflames' protection.

http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff4 ... etower.png

"All plans will be moot if those you protect starve to death. We will continue these supply runs and pray the day hastens when they will no longer be needed and Caraigh is at peace."

Upon his return to Kohlingen, Justin gave thanks hugged his wife Claire and played with his daughter knowing that families like his were now fed on Caraigh.

After speaking with Malatril about the needs of the Mill people in regards to food and fresh meat, the pair made a journey towards Khalem with numerous bags of holding stuffed into their rusack.

The diminutive woman had spoken to the taller elf briefly and quietly, saying that if the need was great and immediate, better to send food that would not possibly take days to track and bring down.

Speaking with a rather large boned individual by a boat near the lush waterways, the food merchant soon found himself empty of stocks and rather wealthy in coin for the piles of it which had vanished into the sacks carried.

Strong of arm and long of limb, the red clad War Knight stepped into the portal which the much more slender woman had opened. They arrived in Ceyren's Mill without incident and traveled on towards the house of the Shadowflames where the food was delivered as swiftly as possible.

The more immediate need met, the two turned to the more time-consuming if traditional hunting*

Sooner or later Justin new one of the supply runs would run into trouble but today was not the day. Though they had passed quickly by some unsuspecting cultists caught unaware by their speedy passage.

Safe again at Shadowflame Tower Suires Saethe, Serina, Fox, along with the mage Tuomas and Sir Justin deliver another set of rations as awell as water.

http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g47 ... refood.png

It was a blessing to have served and not to have lost any runners or supplies. So Justin led them in giving thanks to the Triad and Mystra.

Cory Shadowflame returning to his tower is informed by Willy, a member of the shadowflame that the cultists came to the tower, completely ignoring him and worked out a battle plan on the tower Willy made sure to not draw attention to himself and just kept taking mental notes as they spoke aloud of thier ideas, when Cory asked Willy why they did not kill the cultists Willy admits near everyone even the golems were just so dumbfounded at the cultists actions they could not act.

Willy talks how they plan to try and take out the bridge with ranged attacked by trebuchets and most likely Earthquakes.

"Hmmm, so we must be ready for siege weapon projectiles and earthquakes.....I have a idea to deal with projectiles not sure about the earthquakes yet but at least they have get near here to do them, assuming the they could even muster the power to effect such solid stone."

*Cory makes sure to inform everyone in the tower of this and leaves a posting by Willy to read about what was said*

*Cory then goes underwater around the tower to try working at landscaping but being in undead form and not needing food, drink or rest his grasp of time is very poor and might be down there for some time*
(key information rank 2 stonemason 70% chance of success, 2min cool down at 30trys a hour, 720 a day, 504 avg success in that time, stone offen cut being around 20-30 pounds if a larger amount could not be cut would still be around 10000-15200 pounds of rock cut away)

Two large creatures toiled to turn and dig free the earth at their feet. The wan moonlight shone down upon the metallic form of a golem which methodically lifted the soil and put it aside. Standing just across from the mechanized mammoth, was the more alien form of an umber hulk. What it lacked in the aesthetic appeal of the others gleaming metal form, it made up with an eerie grace and delicacy as spade like claws gripped the dirt and lifted it up. Multifaceted eyes and sensitive antennae kept watch upon the surroundings, though what the two creatures could have been doing or what they feared was uncertain.

The umber hulk had been cutting away the swatches of grass like a blanket and setting them aside with the skill of trained gardener. The two unlikely partners dug a hole nearly three feet deep and five by five feet across. An inelegant square perhaps but it would suffice for their needs.

Nearby, a flame haired figure bore a nearly silent witness to the deeds of the creatures before murmuring something. The construct and the underworld beast turned and listened carefully. The hole was covered carefully before the three figures parted ways.

Who they were and why they took such a task, only they and the gods knew.

Justin gave thanks after another successful delivery of food to the people sheltering at Shadowflame Tower. It was the first run for Squires Bizane and Branden.

He hoped that the work of buying, packing and delivering supplies while not the glory of battle that some sought would satisfy the squires. The battle for the souls of men is not often on the field of combat but rather in simple acts of charity such as words and deeds.

Cecilia's eyes cast downward at multiple tracks along the dirt road.

She was no ranger, but the armored footsteps of many were quite apparent.
The sorceress's breath came to a halt as she listened to her surroundings: a peaceful rustle of the trees in the cool wind, to some it would almost of been relaxing had they not known better.

A scream cried out further down the road behind her, and in the opposite direction she looked; yet this did not startle or cause her any sort of alarm. Seconds later, another was heard, followed by another.

Her hood concealed any expression or emotion to display the nature of her acknowledgement to the noises.

Red waves dirtied the grassy path but still she continued to look down the road, very patiently waiting to see if more would come.

During what Ludius believed was going to be a quiet talk three intruders storm into the Crypts clearly hostile. After a short exchange of words the Necromancer Ludius with assistance from Cecilia quickly dispatch thee intruders.

With help from Seannan the three intruders are burnt. A noticeable smell of the burning dead would linger out of the Crypts.

Ludius thinks to himself

Maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps I shouldn't seek out more Necromancer to strength our cause, if this is the opposition best effort. He chuckles to himself No I will need them, I've got something much more interesting to experiment. And by myself I will not be strong enough to cast it

The Villagers staying within Shadowflame manor seem to be somewhat happier as of late. They talk of a brighter future ahead of them as they go by each day in their temporary home. A single man garbed in light leather is often seen leaving the grounds of the Manor, heading west and then disappearing into the trees as he heads south.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Strange sightings would be apparent in the southern portion of the isle. Demons and undead alike are found staining the ground with their foul blood. The cause of their destruction is rather obvious, as most of them are sliced clean in half by what one can assume to be a sharp blade with massive strength behind it. On the rare occasion, a brave traveller would find the remains of fledgling adventurers cut down before their life-changing experiences could even begin. None of these bodies are found in the area of Finnag's Pass or the Coastal Road.

Strangely, save for spots of donations of food and large chunks of ice to provide fresh water, the nature order of Caraigh seems to be staying away from matters pertaining to the Mill or the Mill inhabitants. It does not mean they have departed as the forest seems to still be teeming with furtive figures, shadows and a clear presence.

Apparently though, something has grabbed their attention that was seen to be of much, much more dire nature. Something which they cannot seem to spare precious moments to turn away from.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Elsewhere, small bags of seeds exchange hands along with keys, notes, books and a strange assortment of information and maps. Many of the items are unique and their contents seem precious to the ones delivering them to a house on the main isle near a boating area. Any conversation is spoken in furtive whispers and with familiars and spells ensuring privacy as the figures do so.

After they share their news, they take careful glances around and then depart into shadows and boats heading back to their places of origin.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

A tall woman in heavy plate is seen speaking with a group of elves. They are all attentive to her words though she seems as one unused to being in the middle of such interest. She seems to be showing them a spot on a map and whatever it is, there seems to be a great deal of importance because her tone and manner are grim and the eyes of the Quessir are concerned but all carry an equal air of determination.

//anyone who's spoken to Eldainia or Velissa over the last week about the project, I need a PM from you for coordinating please. Do not reply here save ICly, please send a PM. Thank you.

The Triadic knights continue of a regular basis the task of feeding the near 600 souls sheltering under the Shadowflames' protection. Each run moves fast as organized by either Sir Justin or Senior Squire Saethe.

Delmza creeps through the deadly woods of Caraigh wary and hunting for threats that might stop them on this particular run allowing the fast moving suppliers Senior Squire Saethe, Sir Simon, Markus Webber, Aelon, and Sir Justin Fairfax to arrive safely with their precious supplies.

http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g47 ... etower.png

Each run made at great expense of almost 295,000 gold per run. Made possible by their efforts of fund raising and generous donations of good hearted people. Sir Justin is often seen with a flat purse but a peaceful look after such a run.

Heavily Armed, the small detachment from Wiltun stood at the railings of Guston's ship looking over the island of Caraigh.

A shouted order.

Disembarkation.

Prescribed stations, quickly taken.

The merchant Dwarf would quiver in fear even though the soldiers ignore him.

Footfall.

Chain surcoat clinking against plated boots.

The Caraigh port was secured.

The Ironguard of Jarl Wiltun had arrived.

A man in red garb shuddered. He had just heard tales about the ironguard from his collegue, and albeit he was black as charcoal he had visibly gone pale whilst listening to the story told.
He had to re-grip his sabre a few times, making sure it hung readily at his belt just in case.
Because there was grim times ahead, and he had gotten the worst of enemies to face.

Following a conversation held near the shrine, the Shadowflame guards would have found themselves the keepers of a great number of blocks of ice and jugs of water that when tested would have been pure but with a distinct flavor that suggested it was far from local.

If asked about the deliverer, they would reply that an antlered woman and a female in red and gold armor who bore the mark of the Red Knight made the deliveries.

Ice would still be forthcoming each tenday.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Elsewhere on the isle, works were still underway though only those who had been called knew of what they were and understood their great, great importance.

Vindel’s million in gold was most generous for it helped pay for the largets food run the Triadic had made with121 boxes of food delivered to the hungry refugees from Cyren Mills.

Small Whippet servant of Bahamut was almost lost a couple of times among the boxes, Jonas the sorcerer follower of Torm, and the Triadics Lady Nicha, Lady Serina, Squire Jerand and Sir Justin all moved what seem to be mountains of food.

Well over 10,132 meals along with water and other food stuffs ranging from beef jerky, crackers and even trail mix had been packed
into boxes by the six runners.

Then they moved as fast as they could across Caraigh. Squire Jerand was learning to move faster on this his second run. The Seneschal acting as rear guard hurrying him along. Not one would be lost this run. Indeed the Triad had blessed these efforts for none had ever been lost but Sir Justin would not allow them to lower their guard until after they were welcomed at Shadowflame Tower...

Lord Cory welcomed the runners at Shadowflame Manor where they unburdened them selves of their life sustaining food. Was unpacked and carried into the manor where it would be organized in the dining hall and distributed.

The visit was necessarily short for Sir Justin knew the current threats to Kohlingen allowed only short sorties like this. Once back in Kohlingen Sir Justin Fairfax gave thanks to the Triad and then returned home to Claire and Elizabeth.

"Alright, men, sweep the area! I don't wan't to see so much as a bone here when we're done!"

At the order of Corporal Jard, the band of twelve of Caraigh's finest began to sweep over the previously abandoned Ceyren's Mill. Houses were checked, and straggling undead were swiftly put down and burned. By the time the militia's task had ended, the rising sun had now begun to set. Jard looked about his troops with a grin, as none of them have endured so much as a scratch in their duties.

"I want two men at a time on each gate. We'll work in six hour shifts at a time. If you see anything you think you can't handle, blow your horns and we'll divide up what forces are present to divide the attack. This is the first step to reclaiming our home, fellas, so let's see it through!"

For the first time in what seems like ages, Ceyren's Mill has the living sleeping behind its walls. The night passes without much more than a simple skeleton wandering towards the border, and morale is high. The soldiers continue to hold their position at the mill, and the occasional messenger is sent to Shadowflame Manor during the day.

Seamus, the town speaker, seems to be in particularly high spirits as he meets with his peers of the council. Once the meeting breaks, the group of elders are likewise in good moods as they go back amongst the villagers. Progress is finally being made, it would seem, and the days ahead are looking bright.

Cory Shadowflame would make a simple and polite request in passing to the messenger sent by Corporal Jard and to Seamus to be kept in the loop so he knows whats going on and if there is anything he can do to aid in it.

Sir Justin Fairfax organizes the donations and begins plans for the next food run when word that the Jarl's forces are in Cyren Mills reaches him.

"Stability for the people is good especially if the island can be placed in order and out of the reach of the cultusts. It maybe that the need for these food runs will soon come to an end."

As Samantha returns to Caraigh she would be happy to see the people of Ceyren's Mill back where they wished to be, or atleast working towards it. She would offer help where she could and she would be sure to stop by the Shadowflame Manor and see Elder Seamus.

Time has passed through the isle of Caraigh, and still no reports or gossip of cultists activity is heard. Finally, when the sun sits high above the sky, villagers are seen leaving the Shadowflame Manor. The groups are small, numbering no more than between ten or twenty at a time. The men are armed with basic weapons and light armor, and the women and children are guarded in the center. They march past the Asylum, a site of many a battle, and pass the lighthouse. By the time they make it back to the once-deserted village of Ceyren's Mill, not a single person amongst the group has been injured.

The escorts continue throughout the day, up until the sun has begun to set. Only one of the villagers was injured when a group was ambushed by two harpies from above. Villagers still remain within Shadowflame Manor, but only because they ran out of time during the previous day. Those who have returned to the Mill immediately return to their homes. Throughout the day they work to clean what they had left behind and repair any damage to their property. When night falls, for the first time in what seems like ages, the villagers sleep in their own beds.

The next day, the villagers focus on repairing their homesteads. Those that remain at Shadowflame Manor prepare to leave as well. Those who visit either group would notice cheerful topics in their conversations, the people of Caraigh seeing a bright future on the horizon. Much praise is directed towards Samantha Lockheart and the Mystic Blades, the Triadic Knights, and 'Lord' Cory Shadowflame.

A Jarl-Warden moved to capitalize on this lull of activity... she moves to speak to the few glade members left... and also has spent a good amount of time with cory on the best action to be taken next... one thing is sure... time is short.

The evening after the first group arrived back at the Mill a lone figure, keeping himself removed from the commonfolk, stands on the little hill watching. Despite the long reprive he stands vigilant, watching and waiting. Dark eyes follow the villagers as they go about their business, the armored man standing as stoic as ever with shield drawn and hand resting on the pommel of his sword.

If one were to read his mind, they would know the pleasure of knowing the people of the Mill were back when they belonged. But no one save a select very few would ever know that. Just as they would not know the other burning thoughts in his mind. The feeling of justice only partially fulfilled, of retribution unachieved. He had sworn, to himself, his love, and his god, that those that had caused all this would get their just payback.

And so Tryus would not rest until he saw that promise fulfilled.

*Cory Shadowflame if not guarding the last few people from the mill in his tower, can still be seen doing random patrols around the island and checking up on the people in Ceyren's Mill asking them if they need anything be it supplies or a extra set of hands for the labor of rebuilding.*

So long after the evils that had transpired years ago it seemed as if the tiny island had once more garnered the attentions of certain would be saviors and heroes. At the behest of Jud'vardas one grumpy drow wizard had been suggested to turn his arcane power aiding in the task at hand. His first task had been sending Delouw and several others to investigate the island. What they told Tazlin caused his minds wheels to start turning and curiosity to rise in the drow mages mind. Perhaps he mused this might be fun.

Tazlins log- Exerpt the Carigah event- Written by Tazlin Kenlyl. Delivered to the Shrine heads and The Grove.

Investigation notes

Today I had a lengthy chat with Dilisstra whom I dispise entirely but was forthcoming with information and insight in part because I agreed to certain things I would prefer not to speak of with the unseelie woman.

During the crawling evil war she worked with both sides, seems the Malarites where feeding information to the demons during the fight and she had some of her own. So I took to gathering information myself. She said that Blackmoors disappearance was a ruse to distract people. It may have been taken but was done so to throw people off.

1-The body impaled was used in part of a unique circumstance not any known spell or rite.

2-Laisa the old seers tale says that Jarl Blackmoor was a terrible man, that he tried to bind a dark god to his will and failed. It unleashed a horde of evil beings in the village and the Jarl was never seen again. The towns folk were all slain or went mad. The Cult and agents of the demon prince came LATER not immediately.

3-The Asylums father says lord Blackmoor was a demon worshiper who terroized his people into servitude. He feels that Blackmoors very memory haunts the land. While I feel this is his personal opinion and I trust the seer he did relate that Lord Blackmoor had a large pack of Luskan Hunting dogs he feed human flesh and he himself was very fond of the hunt.

A) A woman at the Asylum, I call her the lost princess, a mad prophet i suspect ranted this to me;
Road of blood, road of blood. A man of many means shall build a road of blood, turning edged key in the heart of man. He exiles the god from his home and invites dark travelers. A village with out faith is doomed to wander without hope, when lives and homes have fallen into ruin, when travlers from the road take and take and take! and give nothing but the stains of sin.

B) An old man,The eternal child, his mother one of the fist dead during the attack on the town, he was in the crypts that night playing, he said to me he overheard the night that the town fell, someone saying "The sword not a sword, it's the key, the key to his plan" Then the voice thanked the Jarl and said he would be rewarded. He said the person talking to the Jarl was a monster and he slew Jarl Blackmoor then and there. I described lord Everlast and the reaction was clear. It was Everlast that was summoned and made the bargain with the Jarl then slew him with the sword/Key.

Make what you will of this but clearly Everlast is a Lynchpin to the sword and the sword in the body is what is empowering the evil power here. I strongly suspect that a ritual using the Jarls death was use to curse the Jarls lands, using him as its lord as a symbolic link to the land. I do no think a more advanced investigation will be required.

* The walk from the leyline in Caraigh brought back a flood of memories and with a frigid exhale a sinister smile parts her lips. Without enchantments, helm, sword or shield; she ignores the demons confidently striding into Aighashed. Allowing the negative energies swell; a zombie warrior wandering the local graveyard is easily brought under her control and led down into the crypts. Calling a powerful wraith to her side, the two undead beings are left as sentry at the entrance. Her footfalls echo through the halls as soft dust puffs with each step. No torch is lit or magical light used, the path she takes has been walked a thousand times before. Outside the main chamber a small altar to Falazure is built where it once existed. Upon the altar are placed two large perfect diamonds, two flawless rubies, and four pieces of jet. A quiet prayer and her ceremonial dagger slices the exposed forearm cleanly; allowing the warm life's blood to flow over the gems and holy altar. A series of scrolls, wands and other magic rods are drained, spent and discarded; negative energy bursts, blight, and finger of death are all focused upon the precious stones until they pulse with the magics.*
(Draconic) "Falazure, MY Lord. Bless this union! For death and decay!"
* One diamond, two pieces of jet and the two rubies are picked up from the altar, the blood dripping from them covers her bony fingers. Stepping into the main chamber and ascending the dais ; the rubies are placed at the base of the idol, the two pure black stones are pitched into the ever-burning brazier*
"Natia Talon"
* Finally, with an arrogance that is solely her own the diamond is tossed into the flame and another name is spoken forcefully*
ORCUS!!!
"I, Lilith Vorel Marfedelom; Overseer of Caraigh, devout of Falazure invoke thee to come forth!"

*Near the cliff entrance of the structure known as Scath Crann, a figure steps from a portal. At first glance, he could be considered a dark figure- a heavily worn and torn black cloak drapes his shoulders, a hood covers his head, and his leather armor is adorned with various trinkets of bones, fangs, and other past trophies. The figure moves to the cliff edge and with a rope gets a hold of the opposite edge's wooden post. Now on the other side of the cliff, the figure quickly inspects the grounds.*

"Hmm...not a soul in sight."

*Walking through Scath Crann, the figure has several flashbacks of his past dealings with this area, a clawed mailed gauntlet runs across a tree and the stone hedges as he makes his way through the ground. The figure glances over at the various statues of nature deities, holding only the slightest contempt as he does, then stops in front of an empty plot.*

"The Crann has always been missing one other deity...perhaps I shall be the one to remedy this problem.."

*He lets loose a soft growl as he rubs a clawed mailed finger over his chin*

"In fact, the presence of the Beastlord has not been felt on this land for sometime..it is now time to change this as well."

*And with the end of that thought, Valithorn Ibris, the self proclaimed Packmaster of Malar begins his work.*

Caraigh's Stormy Cliffs held true to their namesake as a hulking winged creature touched down adjacent to the Land's End Inn. It would stretch its scaled neck and breath a tongue of fire into the moisture-saturated air before its body would appear to collapse inwards upon itself and contract until only a hunched, buxom woman stood where it had. She would rotate her neck once, resulting in an audible cracking sound before beginning to move towards Finnag's Pass with a heavy gait. Behind her a persistent trail of ashes, or perhaps miniscule flakes would drift along, tumbling over themselves in the air before settling upon the wet cliffs.

"Hunt of the pack here, perhaps mineself does, but of which; pards or rotted ones? Such will be told only by the passing of the light-star and the moon."

When the woman reaches the leyline nestled within the pass, she would drop the ground suddenly and claw up a clod of the soil. With the clod in hand she would tear away the shroud about her face revealing a flash of yellowed, feral-looking eyes. With the cloth removed, she would take a deep whiff of the clod then growl in elation as her query of the loam was answered.

"The Sweet Death walks of this place and leaves of her scent as in times long past. The Seekling may find of what is hungered for yet!"

Having finished with the dirt, the Seekling would discard it carelessly, though her four clawed limbs would hit the ground faster than the clod did as she resumes her pursuit as an orange, fanged blur.
