viewtopic.php?f=38&t=91792 - IC Topic to respond to, etc. Please share information here IC as things are discovered, etc. So, this is another thing I have been working on for a bit and I have run countless people through this encounter. So the question is what is this all about? So I am not going to give away its location but there is cave that resides within Frozenfar in an extra frosty place. Inside this cave resides Frostspear. Shes is a Wyrm waiting to crush all of your hopes and dreams. Shes a boss unlike any other boss we have on Amia so far, and by far the hardest. She is by no means unbeatable. I would advise 3-4+ people all max level at the minimum attempt to take her out. As many people that I dragged through tests with her will tell you she is no joke or laughing matter. A few things to note about this encounter: 1. To enter her cave means you either defeat her, or you die. You cannot leave once you enter the cave of the Wyrm. If you do defeat her your only option is to portal out. 2. She is multi stage boss that once completely beaten will fly off to fight another day. This means while Frostspear can be driven off she can never be killed. 3. She is a once a reset for the ENTIRE server boss. Once she is driven off that reset you will have to wait for the next one to attempt to drive her off again. 4. Once she is driven off a pile of buried loot will be revealed. This loot has a 25% chance to drop a flawless Mythal AND a 5% chance to drop a unique Frostspear only loot. This loot is a widget called Frostspear's Treasure and is a 3 cast/day flame weapon widget that will apply 1d8 sonic damage onto the users weapon. |
