Is it pointless to use it on another PC if there is no Dm on, or does it keep a record of it being used that Dm's can track?

I've asked a DM before, I was told it sticks around until reset.

It will notify a DM when they log in during that server uptime if it has been used,

HOWEVER, if the server resets, it is still logged on our database (though we don't get notified).

I recommend the use of it. It actually does work!

Gotten a few DC's through it, no plot or event going... Just casual RP between players.

Lets a DM know you recommended a certain player for their RP. Then they might watch from the shadows and give a DC for good role play. If you know you're going to be RPing with a character for a while it's not a bad idea to recommend them ahead of time so a DM can see what's happening rather than the tail-end of it. Especially if you're scheming. :twisted:

hi im new and confused but.. the DC points.. I would LOVE to have a Visualizer item thingy to let my character paint some nice magical looking symbols on the ground etc...
How do I go about getting one? I was told they are 10Dc but the cost in the other topic says visualizers are 5Dc
Help anyone?

Hey there, what you want is this: viewtopic.php?f=151&t=84930&p=1385387#p1385387 to get it you need to have 10 DCs, then ask a DM ingame to hand you one, by sending a message into the /dm channel while one is up!

Make a request in a request subforum, asking for a "Pre-Fab Bling Spawner (AKA Magic Bling Spawner)", which can be found in a "Requestables Catalog" by LetumLux.

Well... Really, you can just ask in-game, and let the DM know about this topic to check to verify the DC donations. That should be enough!

That also depends on the notion of what the vfx is or if it's connected to anything.


I'd still make a formal request in the request area and link this discussion for documentation purposes.

Always good to have stuff in the archives for references.

helps be able to validate what has occurred and what hasn't if people require the need to backtrack.

It's been stated multiple times that that particular thing (it summons a few pre-selected PLCs that looks like arcane stuff) can be picked up without a request. And that's been the answer I've seen every time it got requested via forums.

Yup yup, the plc prefab spawner (which has a fixed set of vfx) can just be asked for ingame. Handled that for Aibgail btw. and yanked the donated DCs!

Or it say i can get up to 10 things? So up to 10DC for that as well?
I might be interested in that but, is it possible to start with 1, then upgrade it as i go? Or do i have to make it in its final stage and pay the 10points right away?

Also, would that let me be able to spawn like a functioning workstation?

General Questions is probably a better topic for these things. Haha. Workable job system workstations are available, but they cost 10 DCs on their own.

Just as a polite notice you only need to use it on one PC (even if there's like 20 of you there) because each time you use it, it spams the DM client!

Just use it once and we know where to look :)
