There has been a retcon. I am making this public as trying to inform people individually is simply too difficult, so I'm making it public.
All players involved in the incident and a member of the DM team (Lutra) approved.
You may have to do some mental gymnastics ic. I'm playing and making the assumption that everything that happened as a result of this instead happened as a result of the murder. This includes current issues such as the Wharftown ban, which may or may not be based on the murder of Miakoda; "It always was and just is Miakoda, not her and her unborn child."
On baby/child/pregnant murder in general; all parties involved, from the killer, to the killed, to the witnesses, need to give consent. In this case it wasn't there, and after several months and much discussion it has been officially retconned.
A quote from Amarice in July about this type of roleplay;

Wether you count the child as a "secondary" character of the mother/fathers player or as an NPC, one of these rules apply that rule it out to do without consent of said player or a DM.
The same by the way goes for simply RPing you perma someones familiar/companion without consent of the player or a DM.
I can already tell you you do not need to approach me as a DM for such RP. I neither will supervise nor consent to baby murder with or without player consent. It is one of my "won't touch with a 9-foot pole" topics that ALWAYS lead to excessive drama.
If it gets brought up I'll let you know it was retconned. I'd ask other individuals to do the same.
I have to apologize that such announcement hasn't been made before a public thread was on the subject after the attack on FS. Also apologize that such discussion only occurred after events were made on this topic and as such, created a gap and contradiction in the RP..not to mention the uncomfortable nature of the subject.
