So... I am sure I am not alone in trying Amia around ten years ago! I looked through my archive and found a low-level character created on 2006-06-12 17:49:20. I know, right!? So long ago!

I found many fun things in her inventory, but what stood out the most was the Amian newspaper #27. There are so many things that just make me smile when I read them! Here are some of them plus some other fluff!


Births, deaths and marriages
- Happy news! Karandom and Wendy Sappho tied the knot with the cutest and first wedding that Bendir Dale has ever seen.
- We mourn the loss of Draco Asen and Elith, both killed in a terrible duel.
- The body of the paladin Arthur Hope, was retrieved from the island of Lumorier and buried at the Temple of Salandra. Our thoughts extend to his widow, Shada.

- Dragon in the Southern Swamps, Cordor in Danger: Just outside of Cordor, a terrible blackdragon has been terrorising the good folk of Cordor. The Dragon has reportedly built its nest in the Lowland Swamps, an area that sees a lot of traffic.

- Travel Warning: Recent reports warn of mad winds, shuddering ground and sudden fire in the swamps around Cordor. This phenomenon is the result of magical Elementals, angry and dangerous. Fatalities haev already been reportred. The reason for the unusual congregation is unclear. Travellers are usually preceded by severe lightning storms.'

OOC Stuff
- The Grove guards and merchants are now immune to the Implosion spell due to a recent spate of exploitation.
- Cordor laws updated. The council no longer exists - The Duke reigns!
