Hey everyone. In response to the criticism I've received that it is very hard to get involved in Ruathym as an outsider, and I really don't have the energy to try and make another Alt Beginnings work, since in my experience they generally don't for whatever reason, I have a new initiative to try and is along the same road but has less baggage with it.

Regional Character Hooks will be pre-approved paradigms for new and existing characters to assume in the region, that will be given free equipment (PLC spawners, baubles, unique gear, reskins, etc) pertaining to the paradigm/hook, and a role to play that I believe is needed and will help the Hooked PC find RP, and an "in" to the plot/region they can expound on without needing any input from me.

Here are the examples I made on the DM forum before posting, and these concepts (or something similar) and others will be available to assume once I finish the list of paradigms:

Ex: Paradigm for an archaeologist contracted by Fortress Wiltun to search for more artifacts from the Greyback Snakes and Three Hornets clans from ancient Caraigh, who were either enslaved or bred into becoming the forebearers of House Blackmoor. Character will be given a shovel item with +search and and magnifying glass with +lore and identify 3xday. Character will be given small PLC spawner of archaeology stuff.

Ex: Kennel master wanted for contract with Fortress Wiltun, to train hunting hounds for the Iron Guard and Wiltun Guards. PC will be given generic summoner and/or equivalent reskin to have a hound or two follow them around. PC will be given custom club, whip, or stave with relevant abilities to training hounds (magic fang, etc?).

The only necessity is informing me (and only me) about it, so I can get your things and mark down down as a potential plot tool for me to feed information to, so you can share it with others.

If it works out in Ruathym, we are interested in expanding it to other locations. Cheers.
