I think it's cool to role-play magic circle against alignment to protect the caster against their own demon summons, even though the mechanics for that are not in game. I think it adds flavor to demon summoning role-play. I've come across some logical wire crossings though, and maybe you guys can help.
This game is WYSIWYG, so if we don't see the summons attacking something, then it won't, right? For example, demons summoned via gate do not attack the caster when gate is cast.
How does this role-play work in a pvp situation where demon summons are involved? For example, in pnp, summons cannot enter the circle if the spell beats their spell resistance.
