Like the New FAQ, but specifically about Paladin-related Lore/Technical/Mechanical/Rules questions.

If you've found yourself wondering about "_____" then ask it here. If possible, tag your question with something like [Technical] for purely OOC things or [Lore] or something else that sounds appropriate for IG things. If you're not sure what tag it might have because it's a complex question, don't worry about it.

Also use this thread for asking for clarification, if you seen something ruled different ways and want to know which one to believe.

I will be moderating this topic and will gleefully remove spam, nonsense questions, and split out any discussions that occur.

This is strictly for questions.

What are typical reasons Paladins get Fallen status? Does it depend on the God? What DMs moderate this/do any specifically/should any?

I was fallen with my bahamut paladin for striking down one in anger, but this was only after I requested it from a dm.
Just one example of how it was done

When a paladin's code (per book ig) conflicts with their god's dogma which takes precedence in determining fall or fine

[Lore] In how much regard is the Paladin's Code book in game held? Is it an RP tool for people playing paladins for the first time, an absolute scripture, or a guideline for what rules your individual paladin might be playing by?

I edited this four times because I already asked most of these in the New Amia thread.

Is there a good list of what paladin/religious orders are active on the server? I know there's bahamut, lathander, and salandra who would provide some PC involvement. What else is there? Is Hoar catching on in PC land? what about Kelemvor?

edit: also, is there a comprehensive list of what gods allow for paladins on amia? I read on the FR wiki that Oghma can have followers of any alignment, but that breaks the 1 step rule, so I'm wondering if gods like that (TN, CG, or whatever) have any exceptions to allow for paladins on amia.

If a palidon obviously goes against their Dogma, or uses their status for power is it possible for other plays to request they become fallen? or fall out of alignment?

Is a Paladin able to follow a collective of gods and receive blessings from them, or must their gifts and conduct come from and be based on one (The Adama of the Durpari faith for example - would expectation be based on Torm, or the whole lot?)

While the mount ability is disabled on Amia, can Paladins request a 'celestial animal' companion?
