I'm locking the Requests forum while I move some things around! It will be unlocked as soon as I'm finished, I just want to avoid confusion during the transition.

Migration complete! Full success, everything was lost. 8)

A Requests Archive was created so that open and active requests still needing attention are more visible. Hopefully this will be one of those small things that contributes to a more organized and expeditious Request process.

If you have a Request that is in the Archive that I missed when moving topics back to the main Requests forum, just link me to the topic here in this thread and I'll go get it.

Open/Active requests for Job changes now has a home in Job Log Changes.
Open/Active/Pending requests for anything that requires scripting, such as custom feats and spells, now has a home in Scripting Requests.

Oh, and for just clarity: closed/locked requests all end up in the Request Archive, regardless of which subforum they were originally in. Shabamablam.

All requests older than a year are being locked and relocated to the Archive. If you have a very old/outstanding request that was not yet resolved and needs to be, please post the link to the request here.

As a general statement / reminder about the Improving Amia subforum in particular; please discuss topics in General Discussion first. Once a cohesive suggestion (or suggestions, plural; however many alternative suggestions might have been produced from the discussion) has been solidified, then post that in Improving Amia.

This makes the suggestions a billion times easier for the Devs to find, parse, and figure out. As Glim had to recently mention again, it's not conducive to an efficient or motivated work crew to have to wade through pages of discussion and/or arguments. Pretend like they are robots. They need a search criteria, not a whole debate. The discussion had in General Discussion can be linked in the Improving Amia post for context.

So: if you have a suggestion for improving Amia that isn't just a bug report or the like, post it in GD first. You can even tag it [IA] or the like in the subject line, so it can be found and tracked easier, but doesn't heap tons of text that isn't directly helpful to the Devs into their already overworked eyeballs when they're trying to make the server better.

Improving Amia has been locked as per the announcement.

The Bugs subforum of IA which had been locked while Sheeler got it in order has been temporarily moved to General Discussion, and unlocked. Please view the posting guidelines, and report any new bugs there while IA is locked.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give a warning that I'll be scarce for a while longer. Work has been a nonstop marathon and it sucks my creative drive dry. I've just been plunking away at boring forum stuff or chores in the meantime, as I have it, but I'll be back for some more L'Obsul opportunities, rewards, trade wheelin' and dealin's, some Shadowscape schemes, and an event for lowbies in a bit.

Also, if you send me anything that I haven't replied to yet, or is otherwise outstanding, please remind me about it!

Hey, swamp people (yes, both swamps). I'll be back in a few hours to hop on Client and do the NPC possessions. Be there or be square and hear about it second hand from other PCs.

If I have forgotten you, or you suspect that I have forgotten you or am in the process of forgetting you, please remind me!

I have a feeling I have forgotten to reply to someone about something, but, obviously, I can't remember who or what that is. :?

Post subject:  Re: Warning! Letum Shenanigans (Hiatus Special Edition)

Hey everyone! I'm stepping back from the interactive parts of DMing so I can focus all of my efforts on behind the scenes stuff and Dev work.

The things I had yet to run for people or were waiting for responses, I have made sure are visible are accounted for to the rest of the team and someone else will be picking those up!

I won't be doing any plots, settlement, or faction oversight, nor responding to matters of conflict or issue resolution while I am on this hiatus. Basically I'm going from the customer side of the store into the back, to help support the rest of the Amia staff with more technical, production-related aspects of the server.

Those of you who are sending me snippets of RP, prayers to gods and the like, feel free to keep doing so. I'll be forwarding all that along, as always.

Would there be a particular DM that we should aim to bother for L'Obsul in the meantime?

Post subject:  Re: Warning! Letum Shenanigans (Hiatus Special Edition)

You can continue to send things to me and I'll make sure they'll get seen, but there is no single DM officially taking on the mantle yet. That said, the L'Obby is pretty easy and any DM ought to be able to help. I'll still be on hand for consultation for them as needed, also.

PLC: Battlefield
PLC: Building Adornments
PLC: Containers & Switches
PLC: Food and Drinks
PLC: Furniture
PLC: Military
PLC: Miscellaneous
PLC: Miscellaneous Interior
PLC: Parks & Nature
PLC: Parks & Nature, Trees
PLC: Penants & Signs
Projectile Trap Origin (skip)
Secret Object (skip)
Special (skip)

PLC: Trades & Academic & Farm
PLC: Visual Effects
PLC: Wall & Floor Coverings

This means that I have one and a half categories of PLCs left to add, and then everything* should be readily available as a dynamic resource. Or tldr: no more waiting for PLC requests to get added to the palette!

Also, this is what half way done with the Visual Effects category looks like. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go to a lightless, colorless place for a while to reconstitute my eyeballs.

* There might be a few that got overlooked, since we have hundreds of PLCs and there were some errors in listing them all, but it won't be any big deal to get those added in after the fact.

B is passworded because I'm getting up to some updates that require resets. Pardon the inconvenience!

Aloha, Amians! I'm bowing out to go take care of RL, so any of the threads I have going asking people for information will need to be paused until another DM picks it up.

Sorry about the PC-side stuff I didn't get a chance to conclude, and not being able to watch what happens with my beautiful Sharrans, the Underthugs, all dem monks, and with the Children of Nakasr especially. If I have left something critical hanging, please let me know and I'll try to get it done before I have them shut the power off to my DM and Dev utilities. Obviously, you'll need to forward PMs that aren't explicitly something you were waiting on me for to someone other than me from here on!

I cannot express my sadness and gratitude with words. You may use your imagination to discern what forlorn, sorrowful bellows are uttered forth into the dark night from this side of the monitor.
