Hey, for the L'Obsul Update we could use some neat names for the points of interest of the settlement. We could use names for the following: - Bazaar on the top layer - Svirfneblin Quarter on the top layer - Duergar Quarter on the Buttom Layer - Kobold Caves on the Middle Layer - The Industrial Metalwork District on the Middle Layer Just post your suggestions, and during the week we shall be picking some of your suggestions for the update. |

I have no idea what L'Obsul is like or even looks like. But I think I can take a few guesses at names anyways... expect these to be terrible. Bazaar? (I second Broken Drum: Can't be Beat) Gold Web Square (Gold Web Flat; Gold Web Bazaar; Gold Web ect) Svirfneblin Quarters? Unspoken Wing (cause how is it pronounced?) The Short Stones The Up-Downs (upper area where you look down on gnomes-subraces) Duergar Quarters? Rock Bottoms Foundation Grayplace (Greyplace) Kobolds Caves? Scritch-n-Scratch The Browns Scales Dale The Industrial Metal Works District? TIMs (The Industrial Metal works district) / The TIMs Metal Loom, (The) |

Bajrakkala for the Orogs, IG represented or otherwise. Black Speech, "Clan Stronghold". Yuvarux for the Kobolds, shortened form of Yuvaolarak Arux, the Nest in the Valley. Turkish + Draconic. |

I like to think of L'Obsul like Australia: its full of people who don't like each other, but tolerate one another. Because of that, slang names (or rather colloquial insults) for districts by the general populace would be rather fitting. For example: The Bazaar: Gold Row Svirfneblin Quarter: The Trap Holes Duergar Quarter: Halls of Toil (Infernal's suggestion is simply awesome) Kobold Caves: Wyrm Nest Industrial District: The Fire Quarter |
