Hello Amia,

I am not sure how many of you remember Sazer Locast a halfling rouge/shadow dancer who dressed in mostly black and red. I was big into trading and illegal activities. I was pretty active about 5 years ago. I've recently gotten back into DnD through some pen and paper sessions and I started feeling really nostalgic about my time here.

I was really impressed to see that the server was still alive and active for a game that is nearing its 10th year anniversary and already has sequels out. I think it speaks to how great of a community Amia is.

Anyways, I thought I would say hello. I am curious about how things have been going on around here or if anyone around even remembers me. I also have been trying to figure out how to possibly log in again, how to remember my login and if my old character would be retrievable. I was a big pack rat offender (It would yell at me that I had over 500 items when I would log in) so I don't know if the character was purged.

Thanks,
D

I remember Sazer.

The system still yells at you about number of items, but you can still log in with an inventory >500. As long as you've downloaded the haks, you should still be able to log in unless you've changed your CD key (which creates other problems, but not insurmountable ones).

I remember Xavi, nice to see you're still active. You have a great memory because I don't think we RP'd too often! I was looking at gog.com's NWN Diamond as a way of getting the game. My CDs and CD-Key are long gone. If it is a huge pain I don't want to be a bother.

I was really interested in seeing how things have changed, sort of catching up on the lore. Seems like something pretty big went down with the Arcanum which is interesting. Also it was cool to see some familiar names on the Cordor banishment list like Tarick and Gareb, people I spent a good amount of time with back in the day. Also appears that the ACTF was disbanded which I was really into. I wonder if any new Deity Rings were added, I was a huge collector of those, I think I had a full set back in the day.

Curious if anything happened with the Shadow Dancer Academy. Also wondering if there are still a lot of active Drow, back when I played there was a pretty huge community and I wonder what they got up to. Would be cool to be able to get back into the server and sight see a little.

The ACTF is still around, just integrated without much IC representation. It was always more of a feature than a faction, an excuse to be a fairly independent merchant.

Very welcome! And the administration has started taking draconian steps to totalitarianism with the emergence of the new DMs, who hide their inner tiger within the fluffiness of a kitten, so expect your character to be found mauled, decomposed, and shred to pieces down in the sewers along with what's missing from Cordor.

Speaking of which, is anyone downing the count to our tin anniversary?

Ello, Sazer! It's Rastan, and it's indeed been a while. Good to see you pop your head in. I haven't played Amia in years, but I still lurk. Welcome back!
