I was trying to sell some misc stuff i had on hand while i was at the gauntlet shop today and suddenly i can't sell stolen items to him anymore, is this a glitch or are there now no ways to sell off some random items to any NPC merchants anymore?

There are some traders that do not accept all kinds of items.
And then there are items that you just can't sell, like traps, AFAIK.

Well ive always been able to sell pretty much any stolen item type to him even if only for 1 gold, so is there any other NPC i can sell stolen itmes too or is that it then and i should discard said items whenever i find them now?

I know that the gnomes of the testing range used to buy weird items, like the bone leg from max, but now they are gone.
About other items, I wouldn't know.

There is a merchant in West Cordor that buys stolen items.
