I'm unsure what topic this goes under. But it's more of asking DMs for the, reason of why the Repose domain (repose) summons changed. When I first leveled Kerim he had a lovely hand as the Judge and so on to the Crypt Warden. Now I am re-building and it goes from a Raven -> To a Shadow -> to a Hound? To me none of that makes sense. How does a repose domain change from a series of judges to Shadows and Ravens?

To make it more diverse, I guess. 17-21 is a Crypt Warden again, though, and I'm guessing the other two are humanoid, too.

Yeah I knew about that. But I wanted to know why the first three were changed from the original creature to.. These? I just don't see how these fit a Kelemvorite servent.

Because of what you and Naivy said? To make it more diverse as Kelemvor isn't the only one to get repose, so the summons are more 'generic' for all the deities that offer it.

Damn the other deities who share my deity's domain.

The lore is up to snuff, it's the rotation of the exact same mechanical dynamic I'm vexed about; every summon is like the previous one, there is zero variation to look forward to from the upgrade. Also, the CL27 could probably match a non-UMD unbuffed meleer toe-to-toe, which is ridiculous.
