This won't effect the majority of you, but I figured I'd make a post somewhere visible for the few it might.

The domain I use is going into slumber for a while due to costs, and that's where I host the vast majority of the images and screenshots I use for Amia's forums, for the Info Threads and such. I'll be migrating images over to another host in the meantime, but it's very likely I won't catch all the threads to update them with the new URL. If you notice any broken images in my posts (including those posted as LollipopSpider and A contre-courant), please let me know. I hate edit tags, but I hate [This image is no longer available] even more.

If anyone has screenshots from things like Shadow Jump lessons, projects, et cetera, that I've been hosting and it matters that they remain available, point me to the posts for updating. Also, if anyone wants any screenshots I've taken relevant to their characters and I forgot to give you the links to them, let me know and I can send those over so you can save your own copies before they go down.

DMs, if any of you are hoarders, now is the time to save the beautiful, extravagant screenshots I've flooded you guys with over the years. Those things will be worth money one day.

So! Any recommendations of a good image hosting site that has organization functions, privacy settings that can be different between sets/folders without that having to rely on passwords, and a non-obnoxious interface? I don't like most of them, which is why I was using my own.

Look into Imgur in detail, it has some real useful schtuffs.

I don't like that Imgur renames the files into gibberish and that you can't change the file name afterward. I guess that's due to it being more of an image sharing than image hosting thing. Oh well. The rest of it is tolerable. The Compiled Info Thread images will be updated in a bit with their new URLs and new, stupid names. I know you're all very excited!

I didn't learn about how easy Imgur was to use until recently, myself, and had been wading through a lot of junk and ads to get images hosted elsewhere. Photobucket, imageshack, etc. This is much better, despite any weird quirks it has. Exciting indeed.

I don't care for how the options to quickly/conveniently grab image links are absent from the album view (making albums significantly less useful) but Imgur still seems better than many of the other options out there, yeah.

Besides, Imgur hosts some fun stuff.
