So i was having some crashing issues, and ended up just doing a clean instal which nwn has not had in a long time. I am curious, as im running on Windows 7, should i run in winxp p3? p2? Other? I was also using NWshader and NWNCQ as well as Wormsomethings creature reskins. I had CEP and a few HAKs from other servers installed too. Ideally i want to put NWShader and NWNCQ back on, is there any compatability issues, anyone else having any problems? I had been using older versions of both files, as NWShaders newer update did not work properly for me, so i reverted to an older one. Im not sure if the one up there on the vault now works correctly. Should the Amia Music go in the hak or the music folder? I assume hak. Anything else i should consider to keep the old girl running slick and smooth? |

Running in administrator mode with Windows XP SP2 seems to work best for me. I'm also fairly sure that NWShader is fine, but not certain on the rest. |

Hmm.. so i am trying to figure out how where this "Soundset.2da to unlock NPC soundsets and such" file goes, and i have a zipped up file called "2dasource" that has all the 2da files in it. Should that not have unzipped when i installed the game? Cant find 2da files anywhere else, so im not sure where this soundset.2da goes. I also notice in game that i seem to get spikes, like a pause, then a few rounds happen rapidly. Any cure? Ideas? |

The soundset.2da file should just go in your overrides if I recall correctly. |

I just dont recall this 2dasource.zip being in here.. it has things in it like AmbientSound.2da and cloakmodel.2da, spells.2da, tailmodel.2da.. *Shrugs* Ill try tossing that soundset.2da into overrides and see what happens. It seems like im having less issues than i was, but i am still having this strange desync issue where nothing happens on the screen, besides my char running about, but if i queue up spells or talk, while i don't see any of it, the people i'm with do see it, and the spells are still there when i return. (Grease and buffs) |
