Post subject:  Weird crash/bug
This has to be the strangest bug I've seen in NWN. For a few minutes I was somehow in my own party.

That's the normal player picture at the top, my familiar and summon, and then another player in party that has my name and picture. The game crashed before I could try and look at it more closely. I was running around solo, had just fought some Beastmen (got a lag spike during the fight), and then this image appeared. There was no actual other character, just an image alongside the screen in the party area. It was there for about 30 seconds or so until the crash.

Has anyone ever seen this before? Is something up with the server b/c I have been getting very strange lag all day today?

I've seen this sort of weird bugs before. Odd little phenomena that happens randomly.
Like when you know the game glitched the vith out, and it is going to crash one way or another, but you don't want to look directly at the bug because it may glitch even harder.

Phantom characters, doubles, things that aren't there, the log randomly informing you of combat of characters that aren't there, a missing texture, somebody in the map who is not there, duplication of models, missing elements in the scenario, abilities out of place. Empty descriptions that aren't empty, or even modified, or repeating itself endlessly!

I am starting to think that my game may be haunted.

Never seen something like this (Linux + Wine + NWN-Diamond_1.69(1.70)). Check packet error rate on interface. Next, failing hardware. Or buggy OS.
