I've found myself with some downtime of late, and I've decided to run an alternate beginnings plot based out of Ostland. The premise here is that your characters will be the captain and crew of a freelance transport vessel that has taken a contract to smuggle supplies and materials past the Wiltun blockade. As the characters gain more profit and prestige they may upgrade and refit their ship, with the eventual option of becoming full privateers, should they choose such.

While not at sea the characters will be permitted to interact as normal PC's with the condition that they do not leave Ostland while doing so, they'd be on temporary furlough at their home port is the idea.

Scheduled events would be every Monday evening at 6pm EST (-5 GMT)

So, what am I looking for? We need at least the following characters, I will also consider characters that do not fall into one of these jobs, provided we get enough people, and that you can give an alternate job or shipboard function the character would have.

Required positions.

-Captain, the leader obviously, will also be the one who gets to name the ship.

-Navigator, Plots courses, takes bearings, may also be the helmsman if people are short.

-Quartermaster, In charge of the cargo, ship/crew gear and supplies.

-Weapons Officer, Handles the shipboard artillery, and directs ship to ship combat.

Wizards and sorcerers, as well as clerics and paladins are discouraged, I won't be approving one without a -very- convincing submission.
