(Posting this in General because it's intended to be seen by people who don't necessarily pay attention to the Winya Ravana forum.)

A discussion in the Winya forum prompted some players to observe that there seem to be a lot of elf characters around, but our RP is kind of scattered, leaving Winya Ravana empty most of the time, as elven PCs run off to the Dale or Kohlingen to find some RP. It was speculated that maybe we'd benefit from having a designated, recurring time when as many of us as possible would be encouraged to stick around Winya, and try to breathe some life into the city. And thus is born...

Winya Wednesdays!

If you have an elf PC who's been starved for RP, or if you need to have an IC chat with elves, or if you want to open up a shop and try to sell stuff to elves, or even if you just like elves! Come visit beautiful and scenic Winya Ravana tomorrow, and maybe we can try to spark some activity and fun RP.

I'll be in game as Kaithan starting sometime around early evening US time; anyone else who intends to be there is invited to say so here!

Right now I have a RL obligation early Wed evenings. I should be able to poke in after around 7pm CDT though. Hopefully this is the last week I will have this commitment.

I won't be able to bring Viranirn back for this, for two reasons. First, she's on a vacation with Ania in Evermeet (that is to say, Revak's computer got fried) and won't be back until mid-October, and two, I have an Alt. Beginnings plot to take part of tomorrow.

I wish you all the best of luck, and have fun without an angry, bitter Shevarashan breathing down your necks!

Still didn't make my elven toon, but I plan to do that this weekend. Not sure what exact times you plan to be around, since during weekdays I have to scram for sleep at mindnights GMT.

There's not really a fixed time. This isn't really intended to be "events" or "meetings" exactly, just an informal time for elven characters to "just happen to bump into each other." With my schedule, I'll probably be in game for an hour or maybe two, before you have to bolt at midnight UK time; others will vary. Come hang out with us, when your elf is up and running! :)

Second week of Winya Wednesdays was a Huge Success! Lots of conversation and passers by and a generally crowdy market square.

Thanks to Amaryllia, Baelathas, Darby, Lorindiel, Isys, Isaelie, Zyselari, Aabezeth, Caeryn, Zy’zara’ine and Fis’salor’ine, Vizeles, Derrin, Arkanon, and Shyllia! (And a couple of icky human visitors too, Andrew and Robert.)
