So if you post in the wrong forum, you can delete your own post if it's the last one posted in the thread - like all other IC and OOC forums. >.>
It can be handy, and avoids having to edit the post to "//Removed" and leaving the awkward OOC post there forever.

It also would allow people to delete posts in DM story threads (which have bearings on DM events) that a player thinks might be a "mistake" or otherwise have consequences for their character that they don't want/like.
If someone wants a post of their removed from such a thread, it's easy enough to PM a DM, the DM can make sure it's all kosher, and then delete the post for you.
You can still edit your post in a DM story thread and that allows for the same thing, if you're going by that reasoning. I'm not trying to be contrary. It just seems what you're trying to prevent isn't really what removing the capability to delete your last post prevents.
