Its awesome to see what an epic fight actually looks like on Amia, and it looked awesome. I hope to one day see one myself. Well done DM's. |

It's actually quite laggy... Even with a small amount of people like that unless you've got some super computer. |

Looked pretty nasty. I would've been paralyzed by lag and dead in the first 30 sec, I'm sure. What were those little black multi-armed ape-like things? And what was the effect that looked like Word of Faith with the four smooth pillars? Was that a spell or one of the Phane's abilities? |

The black critters were Past Time Duplicates of the PCs. One for each and when you killed your duplicate, you had to make a Will save because you just watched yourself die. The columns was Vox something, Tuomas' custom spell that actually got the killing blow. |

Thanks for doing the work to cut that all together Fabian 666WaysToHell wrote: It's actually quite laggy... Even with a small amount of people like that unless you've got some super computer. Anyone who was a part of the battle and did get lag (I didn't get any myself that I saw but doesn't mean there wasn't any) I'd like to hear from you in a PM, as many specifics about where/when/during what you experienced lag, so that I can fine-tune the encounter please. And to clarify for some folks, the encounter was 100% scripted mechanically. I didn't have to control the Phane at all or make it use any of its abilities. And thanks to some help from Selmak/Disco, all of its abilities are randomly targeted between all PCs present. |

That was a cool video from a cool scene. I only noticed lag during the main body of the combat but even that was only ancillary. Plus, I admit I generally get combat from huge scale fights . |

It's not really something you can help, I find it's the more N/PCs with high amount of VFX on everyone is going to cause lag regardless of fine tuning.. |
