How do you all get those SWEET Banners at the end of your posts? LOL I dont know what there really called but the Thingy with your chars name and picture, there just plum AWESOME!

Hiiiii, it's a siggy/signature, some of our members make them. I'd do one for you, but I'm waaaaaay too behind on other folks.

Doing up a simple one yourself is really pretty easy. Just make up the .gif image you want to use for your signature in MS Paint or some such program like that, keeping it to 50 by 500 pixels. Upload it to some sort of photosharing website (I used http://www.photobucket.com). Then in the signature entry in your User Control Panel, where you've currently got your ID and character name, put the url of that uploaded .gif instead, enclosed with Img brackets (there's a button for that on the profile editing screen).

But to be totally honest I am very ignorent about computers, Im Old school and never had one growing up and at my high school back in the day there were very few, lol, I know how to turn them on, and how to surf, not much more. Hopefully the next time my niece comes into town she can show me how to make one.

P.S.You should of seen how frustrated I was trying to put the haks, tlk and other things in the right folders to play on this server, I got lucky one drunk night lol

I usually only do my own because I spend forever doing them in order to make them perfect...

Maybe! I have another project coming up for which I'll be taking requests, though, so one or the other would never get done.

She has a blog and has Fantasy Friday write ups. Maybe she should bribe people, so many write ups for a banner. :twisted:

Maybe because I secretly want to do signature banners, but keep telling myself there's a reason I can't? I don't know. I was giving the OP options? Didn't realize this was a forum where you shouldn't say anything if it doesn't immediately offer a service to someone.

It 'Sounded' like pointless egostroking... But its hard to discern due to text based communication. My bad!
