Hello, thanks for the willingness to help.
I used to play nwn for a long time, but for some reason I had to reinstall the game, and so I removed the game, and took the old discs from the dusty shelf, which didn't work.
So after a long time of not playing I decided to buy the game again, but all I found is "Neverwinter Nights Deluxe".

Now, buttom line is- does anybody know how to install the game with another way?
Or, is the "deluxe" version of this, is the regular neverwinter nights?

Thanks

You can still get it at gog I think, just remember to ask for the multiplayer key.

Edit: here's a link: http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/neverwinter_nights_diamond_edition

Well, I did something I think I should've done earlier- try the discs on a different computer, and they worked.
So I guess the problem is in the computer (which is weird, I got this computer about 6 years, and it's working perfectly).
Maybe I should search for shreds of the game that I maybe didn't erase before installing it again?
Any ideas?

Some optical drives deal better with bad discs than others.

AFAIK, NWN is mostly installed on the file system. Meaning, if you install it on PC A and just copy the entire directory to PC B, it will run without problems on PC B. Or, if you have two copies installed on PC A, but in different directories, they will both work just fine. So usually you wouldn't need to uninstall NWN before installing it again.

Also, to install NWN on the PC with the bad drive, you could probably share the drive on the good PC over the network. Or simply install on the PC where it works and copy the entire NWN directory to the other PC, although that is less elegant.

I can confirm this 100% correct. If you install it on one computer, save your entire nwn folder say to a flash drive, or put it in a shared folder between the computers, you can literally just copy/paste it over and it will work.

yeah it works, I've done the copy/paste method to a flash drive to put it on my laptop that way I can play when not at home too. Both work just fine.
