I have been working on my Dwarf with throwing axes and I took Rapid shot thinking it would work with Throwing axes but now I am not so sure.
It seems to apply the -2 when I turn the mode on, but I am not sure about the extra throw. Does anyone have any input here?

I just went back and checked and the definition in handbook says ranged weapons only. If I recall correctly, ranged weapons by definition are only weapons that fire a bolt/arrow, like a bow, or crossbow. (and im not sure if a crossbow falls in that)

sorry,  I'm looking for something that gives clear definition or list of ranged weapons, and not finding it.

http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Ranged_weaponokay, looks like you are okay! Ranged weapons either can be missile weapons, which consume ammunition, or can be throwing weapons, which consume the weapon itself.

Well it definatly goes into Rapid Shot mode. I can stand there and click it while holding throwing axes and it will activiate. Unlike when I hold a handaxe. On the character sheet it applies the -2 to my two current attacks, but does not add a third. So far, it seems like the worst of both worlds
Edit: It seems like the animation speeds up when I use it... however... not sure if it does or not. Perhaps this is just wishful thinking

It wouldn't add an extra attack to your character sheet.
Just count how many you're firing per 6 seconds.

Actually... yes.. it does work. Huzzah! Issue resolved.
