During my break over the Holidays, I finally broke through my Writer's Block and had some ideas that I'd like to implement in my own Alternate Beginnings.

Info: In search of the ever-elusive coin a wealthy merchant in L'Obsul begins searching for capable mercenaries to locate and obtain certain items for him.

PCs: This will be open to any and all Underdark PC races, religions and classes.

Restrictions: All characters must have an alignment within the Evil or Neutral areas of the alignment spectrum.

How to be involved: PM me. Rough outlines of the proposed character are required, including but not limited to name, race, alignment, religion, class and short background.

Details: For 6 to 8 players. Starting level of 2, most likely ending around 8 or 10 dependent upon plot. Permadeath will be in effect. Times will be no earlier than 7pm EST to no later than 1am EST Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Characters will only be played during the Alternate Beginnings plot. Once the plot has come to a conclusion, players will be encouraged to integrate into the current UD environment and playerbase. Current UD players are not discouraged from applying, however, players currently without characters in the UD will be given precedence.

Awesome. All these ABs are so tight. Still so angry I have characters that aren't permadead that I already love to play.

I may be interested. Are all three of those days required to be possible, since I can't do Tuesdays.

Not at all. It'll be a once a week thing. Those are just the hours and days that I'm available, so it'll have to fall in that zone somewhere. It could be any of those days and all or any part of those hours.

I highly recommend anyone who had ever entertained the thought of playing in the UD but didn't know how to get started to partake in this.

I totally would, if I wanted more than just one dude.

I would love to try this out with a new character concept of mine but have no idea what times I will be available in at the future.

However it would be great if people did sign up to this, the UD can be a wonderful place to roleplay within.

EDIT: I would recommend using the Underdark campaign accessory, you can find it on the web as a PDF easy enough. It has a bunch of information on the various races within the Underdark and also on other stuff within the Underdark. Races of Fae'run has some further information on some of the races as well.
