Wanted to immerse my new PC Sybil into the world before I created a suitable description .. can this be done post creation?

Yes! Check your journal to find the necessary chat commands. The wording on the journal entry is a little ambiguous, but if you play with it you can get it to work. I find it best to write your description in a word document and then copy and paste it into the chat bar two sentences at a time

It is listed somewhere but I can't find it at the moment.
But in general there are 4 functions to the bio.

Four functions:

1. Create a brand new bio
2. Add to your created bio
3. Add a break
4. Restore the bio to the one you made on creation.

Practical:

The functions work as following:
You type /s f_bio X where x is a specific letter according to the function you want. If you forget the commands, just type /s ? for a quick reminder.

1. (N)ew bio
Type /s f_bio N this bit is the bio text

2. (A)dd
Type /s f_bio A the following is the new text
The added text will follow right after the previous text.

3. (B)reak
Type /s f_bio B
This ads a nice break to the text for general prettynes and format

4. (R)estore
Type /s f_bio R
To restore the bio to the original (in your case blanco or the generic text)


An example:

I started my character with the a blank biography, so at the start the bio reads:
< >

I want to add a race and gender so I start with a new description:
/s f_bio N Race: Elf
Bio says:< Race: Elf>

I want the gender to start at the front again so you need a break:
/s f_bio B
Bio Says: < Race: Elf>

Now I want to add the gender:
/s f_bio A Gender: Female
Bio says:
< Race: Elf
Gender: Female>

(If you forgot the break the result would have been: <Race: Elf Gender: Female> )

Now I want to add a description in words but I want it separated from the rest. I will need to add two breaks. One to start a new line, one to create a blank line. Thus:
/s f_bio B
/s f_bio B

Next I add my description:
/s f_bio A This lovely moon elven woman has raven black hair and silver eyes. A smile ready on her lips.
Bio says:
<Race: Elf
Gender: Female

This lovely moon elven woman has raven black hair and silver eyes. A smile ready on her lips.>



If you are curious after a while and type:
/s f_bio R
The result will be nothing as it was before:
< >

Already have a few beat me to it...but yeah...

Amia has a way you can leave your bio blank and then, you can alter it as you go...

You can create one....add to it...wipe it totally out....restore it...save it to restore later....

All from the keyboard on the fly IN GAME no less.
