I have asked around in game and in character and was suggested to finally ask from here. So here it is; Is there a blue light gem in the module? I know of atleast 4 different colors but as far as I know nobody has ever seen blue color. I've only found one(1) topic considering this subject and even there was said that blue has not been found at all. So if someone of the staff or players know for certain which is it, yes or no? To note that I am not asking where it can be found, can I be given one but just simply... Does a Blue Light Gem exist?

They exist in the pallet, but not in the lootbins, along with Purple and Red. At least to my knowledge. It's been brought up before. Anyway, a DM may be able to help you out in getting one, as there are IC ways to obtain them through one way or another.

That's something I've been curious about as well as I have a char that is interestd in light gems as accessories for clothing (ie blue clothing with a blue light). If it's all up to working with DMs, then that's all I'd need to know.

It'd be neat if spellcasters could imbue Light into a quartz crystal (or maybe a Mythal) to make it a Light Gem. Since the Book of Transmutation has a page to select the color your Light spell produces, you could then make any colored gem with the right components and gold cost, much like potions, wands or scrolls.

Or better yet (in my opinion), have light crystals creatable by the job system. Maybe Alchemist?

I very much like that idea. Makes finding a certain color a lot easier. Put "clear" light gems in the lootbins and have someone make it into the color you want. Since all of them are technically already in the pallet, could just make a script that ties them in.

I wouldn't be against "clear" light gems being made from job resources either. But not Alchemist, even despite how much I like the job. It's a gem after all. Give it to the Gem Cutter.
