Pretty much what the title says, I wish to give wings to one of my characters, "Freelyn Whitewing" I was wondering if that was possible?
Tell me what I need to do in order to get them and I shall previde.
Thanks, Captain leprous

You'd need to come up with a story for it. A good one, with details and good reasoning for your character to have developed wings, as well as a background to how it came about that fits the character and it's history. Average Joe the Human Swordswinger generally has 0% of a chance to grow wings, so in his case you'd need to put a lot of thought/effort into the request, though it can be a bit different for other races. We don't want you to write a whole novel, mind, but for stuff like wings we want a lot more than "Soandso hired a wizard to cast Wings of Darkness on him followed by a Permanency. Huzzah, Soandso now has wings. Gimme."
Edit: Also, moving this to general. Leto n' such isn't the place for it.

You also need to pay 25 DC's.

People will hate me for saying it but I think it's only fair...
unless your character is an RDD of 9 levels in that class.

I'd just like to say make sure you're looking at this from your PC's perspective.
If it's not a naturally occurring trait for them and they're not into body modifications, what's the attraction for them? Yeah, flying is cool, but unless they have a Wisdom deficiency , they'd also realize that they're adding two rather large (permanent)appendages to their body. And also, that there are other IC ways about going about flying, ones that don't require you to stick out like a winged thumb for the rest of your life.. "Giving" your PC wings isn't really the deal. You convince the DM's that somehow this is something integral to your PC or the evolution of their story.

This is a bit of an out there idea but maybe your character could find an healer PC that could graft them on?

Thanks for all the help everyone. Now I just need to come up with a background story for Freelyn and I need to get 25 DC points, CRAP XD!.
I all ready have three background stories of how, "Freelyn Whitewing", got his wings but, until then, I must get 25 DC points.
Plus to add on top of that: "Freelyn Whitewing" was actually suppose to be a "test" character until I get "Captain Leprous Jack Dreggs" re-figured. But, instead Freelyn turned out to be one of my best characters. So, what I need to do first is:
1. Rebuild Freelyn 2. Get 25 DC points and lastly, 3: Get wings
So, if you could point me in the direction of How i need to go about the rebuilding process, Please send it in this area, or PM me.
Thanks again, Your favorite Pirate: Captain Leprous
