Hi, my name's Kaiwren and I am new to Amia (although certainly not new to NWN).
I played here once or twice before and have but the vaguest recollections of this server.

I just updated NWN to 1.69, installed expansions, Amia haks, and all of the optional things (heads, portraits, voiceset overrides, etc etc), and created my character (Riga Feldspar). However, when I select my character and press the button to enter the mod, I hear the sounds of journal entries registering, and the area-loading screen starts loading, but then NWN crashes.

I spent all day reading the subrace lore and deities, and reinstalling NWN and all that, so I'm understandably (I hope) a bit frustrated. If it might have to do with my character, all the info's at this post's end. Thanks in advance for any help I'll receive.

Oh, also, just tried it with another character I made solely for the purpose of seeing if it was somehow connected to the character. Doesn't appear to be, still crash on login.

Is this an Amia only problem? Does it occur on other servers as well?
And can you enter in AmiaB or is that a no go as well?

Try logging in without any overrides once, and then install overrides one at a time, loging in between eah of them. also try disabling shiny water or turning your graphics down?

Looks like completely redoing the portraits and overrides seemed to fix it. My graphics are all at the lowest settings atm, on recommendation from my friend Aeqvinox, but I don't think that they caused the problem.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions, too; if the problem decides to manifest itself again, I'll just bump this thread.
