An "anonymous" group *cough* will be holding a event as soon as possible involving Gladiators and Spectators. Rather than just running around PvPing people to collect our gladiators, I figured I would offer people a chance to participate of their own will. We're looking for several low - mid level characters willing to be temporarily captured by some of our slavers and then transported to an unannounced location. From there, the gladiators will be briefed and prepared for the event. Spectators will watch from safety and place bets on the combatants. We're looking for warrior-types only. No (or very few) mages. The winner will be rewarded and this event should prove some good amount of fun for everyone involved. If you are interested please let us know here or send a tell to "Viz'aun d'Vandree" in game. I'll be on server B. We're hoping to carry this out as soon as possible. The location will not be posted and to those interested we can arrange a meeting spot to initiate the roleplay. Thanks guys and hopefully some of you will be interested in joining this event!

The event will likely take place Sunday August 21st. Bella Rose will post the official time and date. Hopefully by then we can get enough Gladiators interested to participate to really make it a fun event. Just send Cecilia Silverkin or myself a tell if your interested in joining. Don't take it that way, man. We're just trying to create some rp. I figured going about it this way would help minimize potential OOC problems. The gambling would be fun and honestly, if I wasn't going to be helping run it, I would happily play a gladiator character in it because I think the perspective of that kind of role play could be a lot of fun. Also we're just spectators. The one who wins is who's going to look awesome!

We're still looking for some more people who might be interested in some gladiator roleplay. There will be some rewards for the winner. The event's set up to hopefully be a lot of fun for all involved and provide some good story for characters on all sides. We're got a great location picked and a good layout for how to run it without any ooc chaos while its going on. My question is, how do people hear about this ICly? This entire thing could've been arranged ICly, much to the same effect. Or you could've had an IC and OOC post both based on the same event.

I would prefer if this was dealt with icly, just travel the roads more instead of using the wagons.

Thanks and yeah the ooc nature is just to find out who is interested, so we know who to look out for when selecting our gladiators. The meeting and rp itself will of course be IC. There isn't much of an IC post yet because our PC's are trying to keep a low profile about it so as to minimize the risk of being discovered by the law dogs lol.
