My character recently got slaughtered and had pieces of her body removed, what does this mean in terms of a raise?

Does she regain her body parts.

Does she loose the parts that were cut off?

(This was done by a DM, but he didn't give me a clear understanding of what happenes)

From d20srd.org:

Raise Dead wrote:
While the spell closes mortal wounds and repairs lethal damage of most kinds, the body of the creature to be raised must be whole. Otherwise, missing parts are still missing when the creature is brought back to life.

Ressurrection wrote:
This spell functions like raise dead, except that you are able to restore life and complete strength to any deceased creature.

The condition of the remains is not a factor. So long as some small portion of the creature’s body still exists, it can be resurrected, but the portion receiving the spell must have been part of the creature’s body at the time of death. (The remains of a creature hit by a disintegrate spell count as a small portion of its body.)

Edit: Damn you Cory and your ninja training >>

Oh ok, so since I got a Resurrection my character's parts are back. Now what happenes to the parts that have been detached from the part that the spell has been used on?

Actually, I told you exactly what happens. I said a Resurrection would fix you right up.

The missing parts turn to ash and dust at the moment you're rezzed.

If it was in '//' I didn't see it sorry, but I didn't see a 'tell' about it.
