I think the last override thread got smacked down by the Haxxor demon, as a search brang up nothing. So here's some of the more critical overrides that where included. Open nwshader.xml with notepad. Look for this line <ScreenFolder>C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\screenshots</ScreenFolder> Delete the C:\Neverwinter blah blah bit and replace it with the pathway to your screenshot folder. If your computer simply stalls or doesn't run once in game, then its your computer thats the issue, and its a pille of poo. Uninstall NWShader Delete Nwshader folder Delete these files from Main NWN folder: cg.dll, cgGL.dll, DevIL.dll, dinput.dll, EasyHook32.dll and glew32.dll That SHOULD uninstall it. I've come to learn that NWShader and NWNCQ can actually fix a lot of annoying bugs due to outdated graphics, so they are worth grabbing just for that alone. However, if your running an OLD machine, or a machine without a dedicated video card made in the last 7 years, don't try and use this. You'll just cause yourself immense pain. How odd, when I searched Phearun as the author in GD, I got no posts by him, and I only got 5 results for override. Weird. Anyway, the latest version of Nwnshader is glitchy as all hells bells. So if people use it, they may find themselves in a bit of trouble. I spent about 3 hours last night getting it to work correctly, and now I have Depth of Field, Bloom, SSAQ & HDR all working on NWN. So I've uploaded my nwshaderconfig.xml file. http://www.mediafire.com/file/1688mhkns ... shader.xml Simply unzip into your nwshader folder after downloading Chronepsis 0.2.2.3 . Overwrite the old one, and you should have it. From there you can edit using the config.exe, or just run the game. The config also unlocks the camera and allows you to adjust how far. I've set to 700 for maximum screenshoting distance. |

For anyone who's having trouble with NWshader. The config file had reset the max distance on the camera angle, should be fine now though, I just reuploaded. I'd suggest if your not handy with opening files in notepad and fiddling around with values, that you don't open the gui, and just download then play. If you have to change values, use notepad to open the config file and fiddle around in there. The gui is a mess and resets values all the time. |

Alrighty, so the last hour and a half have been my being a retard, so can someone help me on how to get these to work? Im trying to get the NWShader and NWNCQ to work, and im to dumb to get either. |

Its not hard really... Install NWN-CQ. Basically just follow the readme instructions, and run up the batch or something. Its pretty stupid-proof. NWNShader is the hardish thing. Basically download it, extract it to your main NWN directory. No do NOT extract the contents of the folder to your NWN directory, just extract the folder itself. The folder should sit in the NWN folder, along with the DLL's. Then download my config file. Paste it into the newly extract nwnshader folder. Overwrite the existing config file. Then simply run your game. If you must edit the settings, use notepad to edit the config, or if your feeling daring, use the Gui. Just make sure your aware that it sometimes randomly changes the save games folder, as well as the camera view distance and you'll need to edit manually as stated in the first post. |

The batch file is the install file. You get options to install certain things. |
