I have a shortest question of all. Does a permanent skin change (within the race boundaries, like ogrillion-to-ogre) requires a back story?

The more the better. A good story is nice, as is RP with players... but a good story that also has backing RP with players? Stellar!

I have the story written and I've been subtely RPing the thing from the very beginning of my char, but I find it very difficult to RP itt now. It seems the monster PCs are very rare these times. I remember lots of gobbos and orcs wandering around a year ago, but now, it's like they've vanquished. Every single character I meet is a pinkskin. And the problem is that:
1) most of them don't like to RP with monsters at all
2) my PC isn't too keen to speak with them either.
3) Why would an ogrillion tell his recent history to a hated pinkskin anyway?
So it's a pat situation for me at the moment.
