I played NWN2 for a while before I started to play NWN1 again and plan to stay playing this for a long time to come, especially this player world. There is however, 1 thing that I did indeed love from the NWN2 community. There is a website that allows you to build your characters with all the stats and feats and skill points. Nothing like an in-game builder, it's more of like a spreadsheet that has all of the stuff needed for a character built in. I was wondering is there a site like this for NWN1 aswell? Something akin to NWN2db.com 's character creator.
Any help in pointing me in the right dirrection would be extremely welcome.

Sadly there isn't, and it's something I really wish NWN1 had. There is a character builder speedsheet you can download off nwvault that works similarly, though.

Start a character in singleplayer:

## DebugMode 1
## GiveXP 435000

Experiment galore!

Do you by chance have a link to it or perhaps a name I could search for?

I like using this: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=mo ... il&id=4811

Though starting builds off as bare bones on paper with a pen is the best way to go! :D

Don't forget that many classes and feats are changed here though.

Go to the BoW server in the Arena section and start a character with "[Test]" in it's name. You'll be taken to a secluded area where you can level how you want and even craft items that you think your character might obtain. (Example: All +4 ac items except boots and ability bonues +12 strength)

That's how I have always done.

And this is not commercial for BoW, it's a pretty dead server, just useful if you want to make Test characters. :)

Hah wow that is nifty to know!

But I can vouch for the CBC xls file... it is fricken awesome.
If you are nice, I will give you the one that I have added Amia stuff too :3

But BoW has also modded classes such as BG and Sin as well as DwD and such so just be careful! Great PvP server teehee

I use a mod called Pretty Good Character Creator(<--Click on it for the link). I've been using it for years, and during my PvP time as well. It's pretty much like BoW just offline and without any mods to the classes. It lets you level your character and create your own items, as well as completes the spellbook for wizards.

It has a set thing where you can test your builds against other NPCs of certain classes...well, all the classes. If you're toolset savvy then you can edit things as you wish. I've pretty much made the test NPCs harder to kill by adding items and such...and made the area you fight in better by adding corners for if I'm testing a sneaker that's not a SD. :P

I made my own test module for Amia with gear and whatnot that I created similar to the stuff already existing on the server or how it'd be after mythalling. Then I went ##DebugMode 1 ##GiveLevel 29 and saw exactly how my char's going to be preforming at level 30 with fully optimized gear.

Also I could experiment with appearance types for armor/clothes, weapons etc etc. Doesn't exactly take long to make and you can test whatever you want in it when you make your own. Just make sure ot add the hak files to the module so you get the Amia related changes and models.

Who needs notepad and fancy xls sheets when you can build up from scratch trough the powerful tool of imagination and brainpower, then test said creation out on something as close to the real thing as it gets.

I've used a combination of the Pretty Good Character Creator and the spreadsheet for a while now. The spreadsheet is pretty easy to modify for Amia. I've got all the subraces added in and a few other Amia specific things, as well. The module is pretty good once you get your basic build fleshed out and you want to really see what's going on performance-wise in real time because sometimes a build looks really good on paper, but is a pain in the ass once you add the interface of the game.
