I notice that my own view of my Hobgoblin character is a generic avatar--that does not change at all with armor, cloaks, helms, etc.--only weapons/shields.

I have been told that other characters see the actual "built" character avatar, with appropriate gear, etc.

Is this a known bug or file issue? Is there a fix? Or is it "working as intended"?

Obviously, not a showstopper--but is becoming more annoying/frustrating over time...

Thank you for your time and attention concerning this matter.

That's how it works. Hobgolbins have a mechanical appearance. All it will show on you is your weapons and shield. It is not a bug.

you could do what people playing kobs and gobs did b4 the dynamic model and pay DCs to have your model type changed to something like halforc and change your head to something hobgobliny, though youd need to find something suitable which might be difficult.

Hobgoblins only have the static NPC appearance available to them at this time. There's currently no intentions to change this. The most you could do aside from paying dream Coins would be to request that a DM change your hobgoblin skin to one of the tw model cohices: One is a shirtless hobgoblin, lightly armored, and the other is heavily armored.

What determines which model you end up with after subrace activation?

Random chance. For goblin/kobold it's dependant on class, not that it matters any more.

Much obliged.
