Hello Everyone.

I am new here and until today have been enjoying myself on this massive server. I pretty much keep to myself and am far from new to NWN. I was of the understanding that role play was encouraged on this server! However, I am exploring the server and I try to be as knowledgeable as possible, but I have not read info on all the areas of the server. I happen to venture into Bendir Dale and am rudely approached by a cooky halfling. Alright, I role play (or so I thought), and he says then that is a "no" and attacks and kills me! So, this toon is rudely addressing me and then tells me that the law is to disarm, ok, I am role playing and am killed for my efforts. While I am laying there I can't respawn and he or she is rumaging through my body and belongings. Is this the sort of role play I have to look forward to, I am level 9 and he or she just wanted to kill someone! I came and researched the rules for Bendir Dale, and this is the rule I was accused of disregarding.

Law VI: Guests must disarm upon entering. Weapons may only be bared by militia, except in special cases. These cases include overwhelming odds of offenders versus outnumbered militia. Non-residents who refuse to disarm will be forcefully disarmed.

It doesn't say anything about being killed on the spot! I really hope that not everyone will be as eager to kill newbies as this person.
