Where can I find the set planar cosmology that Amia uses? I think I am correct in thinking that you set your cosmology depending on what setting you are using.

It is a bit unclear on what is being used. I personally use Planescape, usually gravitating more towards 2nd ed lore but 3rd ed is similar enough in the first place. This being the Great Wheel cosmology. When Gagis speaks of the Planes he always refers to the Great Wheel and the details of the Planescape setting.

Default Forgotten Realms cosmology is the silly World Tree thing and it sucks balls, so it is oten ignored.

The choise of cosmology in PnP depends on the DM:s, but I do not think an official ruling has been made on Amia.

We use the great Wheel/Planescape/Greyhawk with the Tree locations being specific areas of the planescape cosmologies to an extent. The House of the Triad is a location within the Seven Mounting Heavens of Celestia. Brightwater exists within the CG plane that escapes me at the moment. Gond and Oghma make their home among the gears of Mechanus. Bane and Loviatar's domains exist within the Nine Hells or a similar, closely located "plane".

Kelemvor and Jergal ar eof course their own thing on the Fugue.

This is an example of an official ruling. It doesn't go into some sticky no one will read somewhere, nor does it need to be dramatically announced in a thread of its own.

Nothing of the sort was ever stated in this topic.

Amia is Homebrew. It is in fact FR, but not governed by ALL the lore and rules associated with FR.
Which makes perfect sense when you realize some of FR's stuff wouldn't fit into a video game. Some of DnD's stuff in fact.

Thanks Tormak, that helps.

Although 99% of characters should never really know whats going on in the afterlife.
